Life With A LEESA Mattress

When we moved into our new flat, we panic bought a mattress from IKEA and made do with it. When LEESA approached me about trying one of their mattresses*, I couldn’t turn it down. You may have heard about Casper, Simba or even an Eve mattress but Leesa most definitely stand out for me. So how is life with a Leesa mattress? Relaxing, for sure!

A Leesa mattress is made up of layers of foam to create the perfect sleep environment. There’s a dense base, then a pressure relieving memory foam layer that’s topped with a cooling Avena foam that provides airflow throughout the night. Memory foam layers are just so comfortable to sleep on as they mould to the contours of your body and my personal favourite, no bedsprings digging in your back!

I mentioned above that Leesa stand out more to me than other mattress brands and this is why, for every 10 mattresses that are sold, they donate one to charity. How amazing is that? They have also partnered with Arbor Day Foundation and for every one mattress sold, they plant one tree. I love brands that really think about their customers but also about the bigger picture as well. They not only care about their customers but also about the environment and people that are in need of a mattress. These qualities really stand out for me.

So much easier than dragging a flat mattress up the stairs by yourselves – although the delivery men did bring this up my stairs for me but….On the box there are instructions on how to setup your mattress. The 4 lines go at the bottom of the bed and you roll it out, remove all the plastic and just watch it all expand, it’s amazing that something so big came in a box so small. Any harmless odours of wrinkles will disappear, it can take up to an hour for the mattress to fully expand and a few days for it to fully firm up.

With other mattresses, they have never fitted the bed frame fully and we always had gaps but this fills it properly and because it’s so thick, it makes our bed a nice height. Another great quality about Leesa is their returns policy. You can try your mattress for 100 days and if you aren’t happy with it, you can return it free of charge.

I haven’t noticed any back pain or discomfort from it, I have found that I sleep better, my nights are less restless. I used to wake up a fair bit throughout the night, I always have but since getting the Leesa, I barely wake up, unless it’s George or a noisy neighbour I am sound asleep all night. I love how it moulds to your body but as soon as you get up, it springs back to fullness ready for the next great nights sleep. It’s a brilliant mattress.

I 100% recommend Leesa mattress is you’re looking at a getting yourself a new one. Not only will you be getting a better nights sleep, you will be helping someone else towards that as well. And if you find it’s not for you, you can return it with their 100 day returns policy. Use the code BEAUTYANDTHECHIC at checkout for £100 off your Leesa mattress order.

Will you be treating yourself to a new Leesa mattress?
