I’ve always had an idea on how I would have my hair styled for my wedding. I know what suits me and what makes me look like an alien, I want something that is fancy but not too much, and most importantly, I don’t want to have anything super extravagant that I wouldn’t usually wear.
Pinterest have been my absolute favourite place for wedding inspiration, from colours and dress styles to flowers and hair, I’ve turned to Pinterest for everything. I thought I would share my wedding hair inspiration and also, a couple of wonderful wedding stores that sell the most beautiful wedding hair accessories.
As you can see, the styles I am thinking are all very loose and undone, effortlessly chic. I’ve never wanted a tiara but I’ve always known I would wear a beautiful hair slide to hold a delicate veil in place or just a slide on it’s own, still undecided on that. There are an abundance of stunning photos on Pinterest sharing beautiful style after beautiful style but these have really stuck in mind. The actual hairstyle that I want to trial I haven’t included, I don’t want to give too many secrets away. To adorn my wedding hair style, I have discovered a couple of online stores that offer so many options and the best I have found so far.
LACE & FAVOUR
I was recently contacted and asked if I would like to showcase a wedding hair accessory from Lace & Favour, an online wedding store that sells everything from accessories and veils, to bridesmaid dresses and wedding shoes. There are all sorts of hair accessories, from hair pins and grips, to halos headbands and drapes, there is something for everyone.
I chose the ‘Arianna’ Hair Comb* you then get to choose the colour of the comb, the accent leaf colour, pearl shade and wire so you can really make it your own and to fit in with your theme. Our accents are gold therefore I chose all gold options and ivory pearls and I’m so happy with it, it’s just so beautiful and I can’t wait to style it at my hair trial in a couple of months time.
The other store that I have found is Britten Weddings, which focuses on veils and accessories, all handcrafted in the UK. They offer an extensive range of beautiful veils and hair pieces, the veils are so beautiful and if I do wear one, I have my eye on a simple one from this store.
Etsy is another store that offer a huge range of stunning hair accessories, I have found them to be a bit pricer than other retailers but nonetheless, absolutely beautiful. A couple of the photos above, the hair pieces are from Etsy.
