Charlotte Tilbury Opium Noir

I get so excited whenever Charlotte Tilbury releases a new lipstick. I have an ever growing collection but shade after shade I find myself lusting after each and every one. Not just the colours that pull me in, but the formulation of the lipstick itself. The latest colour to win me over, the limited addition Charlotte Tilbury Opium Noir.

A beautiful dark berry crimson shade, it’s perfect for Autumn/Winter, and a shade that I love this time of year. It’s in the Matte Revolution formula, my absolute favourite as they are creamy and easy to apply but dry down to a comfortable matte that feels hydrating on the lips. They don’t bleed of feather on the lips, they feel and look great.

PIN IT! PIN IT!I love red shades but don’t feel like I can pull them off, but this is a twist on a red making it a deep vampy shade, it’s so sultry and pretty. I absolutely love it. As I said above, it’s so comfortable on the lips and the longevity of these is always brilliant. With drinking and eating you will need to apply eventually, this isn’t a matte liquid lip that doesn’t budge, it stays well but does need topping up throughout the day. It does look a little lighter than the shade in the bullet, but the images on the CT website of the girls wearing it is a clear and accurate representation.

PIN IT!There are already a few other shades I have on my wishlist, Legendary Queen, a slightly deeper take on a classic red, gorgeous shade but not sure I could pull it off. And The Duchess, a beautiful soft nude, described as a tea-rose pink, so pretty. Both online exclusives, and both on my to-buy list. Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks overtook MAC long ago for me, they are just stunning in every way and I don’t even need to mention the packaging do I? *heart eyes* Charlotte Tilbury Opium Noir will be my go-to berry shade for many years to come.
