Maybelline has always been my favourite high-street makeup brands, I love the quality of their products and they always have exciting launches that I can’t wait to try. Recently on their Instragram they have been sharing a lot of new beauty things that have caught my eye, I’ve been searching my local Boots and Superdrug stores for a few weeks now waiting for the launches to hit the UK shelves and they finally have.
Starting with the most exciting launch in a while, when I spotted their new The Burgundy Bar palette (£11.99) I swooned, it was so beautiful and shades that I absolutely love to wear. The pigmentation of this palette is incredible, the swatches below are just one swipe, even the matte shades are super pigmented. The formula is buttery and soft and I can’t wait to start playing around with the shades.

PIN IT!There are 10 shimmery shades and two mattes, all ranging from a shimmery champagne, burgundy, a beautiful dual-tones cranberry shade and finally a dark matte brown. These colours will be gorgeous for the Autumn months, the perfect palette for my favourite season.
PIN IT!I’ve had my eye on the new Super Stay Matte Ink lip products and I will admit I’m a little disappointed in the shade range. There are only 10 available, four being purple shades, a couple of neutrals and then some reds and a vampy colour. The shade of the tubes correspond with the shade inside, and since there weren’t any tester, I decided to try Lover which looks like a pinky shade however inside is actually slightly darker. It’s still a nice shade but for £9.99 it is also a little pricer than most liquid lipsticks.
I needed a new concealer and liked the look of the Dream Brightening Dreamy Concealer (£4.99) and the Dream Brightening Concealer in White (£4.99) to brighten my under eyes up. I’ve only used it a couple of times but the white concealer seems a bit drying whereas the fair shade is lovely. A very creamy and light formula, it’s a great shade and consistency to pop on if you want a very natural look but just want to cover up a couple of blemishes.
Finally I picked up the Master Camo Cover in Green (£8.99) to sort out the redness in my skin. I recently bought a Max Factor one (which I will be posting about soon) however it wasn’t what I hoped. This one on the other hand is lovely, the formula isn’t drying and it does cover redness perfectly. I have wanted something like this for a long time, shame it didn’t come out sooner and I feel like the market has been in need of something like this. I don’t know how long the small tube will last but it’s a great product and definitely one I will repurchase.
Have you bought anything from Maybelline recently?

To be completely honest, when I saw this palette in a Superdrug store this week, I thought it really was not for me. But seeing it swatched, it actually has changed my mind on it. Even though it is a shimmery palette, which usually I don’t like too much as I really only like an inner corner shimmer in palettes, and maybe a gold, but this palette looks beautiful regardless, definitely picking it up soon. xx

I bought the Master camo in Apricot to sort out my dark circles and while it works I found the formula too pigmented and difficult to blend out.
