Pillow Talk, the shade everyone is talking about. I stumbled across the new Charlotte Tilbury shades on the morning that they were released, as soon as I saw Pillow Talk I
needed wanted it. I kept going online to look at it, then slowly on Twitter I saw other people starting to talk about it and with the fear of it selling out taking over, I gave in and bought it. I haven’t been this excited about a new beauty release in a long long time so I very pleased to add it to my growing Charlotte Tilbury lipstick collection.
Usually around Valentine’s Day Charlotte Tilbury releases two beautiful lip shades, last year it was Between the Sheets and Kiss Chase which I posted about here and this year it’s Pillow Talk and Valentine. Valentine is a beautiful pink shade in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick formula and was named by fans on Instagram however it’s a little too pale for me and shades like this sadly don’t suit me, as much as I wish they did. Pillow Talk is in the beautiful Matte Revolution formula, which is my favourite and is the same shade and name as her very popular Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Lip Liner.
PIN IT!I received Pillow Talk Lip Cheat for Christmas so I already knew I would love the shade and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the lipstick release. I can’t help but feel like it may become permanent because it is such a popular shade. A beautiful nude with a rosy pink undertone, for me it’s a my lips but better kinda shade and I love it. The matte revolution formula is my favourite as they aren’t drying at all, they are so creamy and pigmented and last really well on the lips.
PIN IT!As you can see the shades are identical, as expected, it looks quite dark in the bullet but once applied it’s such a beautiful wearable everyday shade, I just know this is going to become my go-to lip.
PIN IT!Everyone knows just how stunning Charlotte Tilbury packaging is, the rose gold paired with the maroon boxes is just such a gorgeous combination. I’ve always wanted one of the luxury gift boxes, let’s face it they make great blog props, I made sure to order one for the purpose of this post.
If you’re on the fence as to whether you should buy this lipstick I would say go right ahead, incase it doesn’t become a permanent shade in her collection you don’t want to miss out on such a beautiful lipstick. £23 is a lot for one lipstick but the quality of these is so lovely, the packaging is extremely luxurious and it’s such a wearable shade you would get so much use out of it.
Will you be adding Pillow Talk to your collection?
