LUSH Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner

I first received a small pot of the Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner in a gift set from my sister and absolutely loved it so she very kindly bought me the full size as an extra gift. I’ve tried massage bars and other Lush products that leave a residue before and didn’t get on with them but the Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner is different and it’s too good to not share with you all.

Firstly the scent is just gorgeous, it smells strongly of roses mixed with a hint of shea butter, but it’s not too overpowering or sickly. It’s the same scent as their Rose Jam Shower Gel so if you’re a fan of that you’ll love this. Packed full of ingredients that nourish the skin and keep it moisturised, it’s perfect for me at the moment with my growing baby bump and keeping my skin supple to avoid stretch marks, although it’s down to genetics, there’s no harm in slapping extra cream on.

This product contains argan oil, cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, brazil nut oil, almond oil and shea butter, lots of amazing ingredients that help the skin and the idea is that you use it in the shower, rinse it off and then there’s no need for moisturiser afterwards.

After applying it and washing it off, I do like to gently rub a loofa over the areas just to be sure I have washed the product off. Once I’m out and have patted my skin dry, my skin is so incredibly smooth and there’s a light lingering scent of roses. I don’t always apply a moisturiser as you really don’t need it, my skin is always so soft and hydrated but since I am pregnant, I want my skin to be as supple as possible and sometimes do use a moisturiser over the top.

love  this body conditioner, you only need a tiny amount which means it does last a decent amount the time. The scent and the way it leaves your skin super nourished, I just love the concept of this product and the results.

Have you tried Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner? What are your thoughts on it?

This product was a favourite of mine – also a present from my sister. She gave me some great advice: to combine it with Rub Rub Rub, thus you’re scrubbing and moisturising at the same time and the scent combination is better than either of them alone. I do have to say though that I wouldn’t use Lush products whilst pregnant and have since stopped using them entirely as they insist on continuing to use multiple parabens in their products. Which is disappointing as they remind me of a company who wouldn’t use parabens.

That’s a good idea and I’ve always loved Rub Rub Rub. You know I just assumed that LUSH products were fine to use during pregnancy due to being mostly natural ingredients etc however I’ve just emailed them to check if it’s safe or not, thank you for bringing this to my attention! 🙂 xx

I haven’t actually tried this, but I’ve gone and sniffed a few times when I’ve been in Lush and it smells gorgeous! Definitely considering actually picking some up now 🙂

I’ve looked at this but am often allergic to Lush products and they didn’t have any sample pots 🙁 so once they have some I’m going to get a sample to try it and then fingers crossed I won’t be allergic, it sounds amazing xxx

I’ve never tried this body conditioner before, whenever I go to lush I tend to go for their face masks. During the winter time I will most likely be looking for new moisturizers for my body and this one sounds like it’s really good.

I haven’t tried something like this from lush but it does sound lovely and something I know I would like to use.
