March Favourites 2015

March has been and gone in a flash, I can’t quite believe how quickly this year is going, it’s crazy. I’ve always been told the older you get, the quicker the time passes and I have to say I’m not a huge fan of that! I’m not totally complaining though as the months ahead are going to be incredible, I just wish things would hurry up, I’m so impatient!

Max Factor Glossfinity nail polish – Candy Rose – I randomly picked this up in a 3 for 2 offer as the colour is just so pretty and easy to wear. When I don’t want a bright shade or a pale pastel – they are a pain to apply – I have been opting for this one. It applies so well without any streaks, dries really quickly and the finish is very glossy. The shade is a dark dusty pink shade but it’s great for a neutral look if you want something plain and quick. My only gripe is that the formula is supposed to last seven days but it chips quit easily on me, after about two days or so.

Sleek Blusher – Rose Gold – I posted a picture of this on my Instagram and it ended up with the most likes a picture has ever received on my account, it went down very well and with good reason, it’s such a beautiful shade! A pretty soft pinky coral with gold highlight, it creates a beautiful sheen on the cheeks and it’s a great shade for spring and summer. It’s so pigmented and blends in beautifully. I’m so glad I dug this out of my collection, I’ve been missing out. Full post coming soon.

Real Techniques Setting Brush – This brush I have used for a long long time now but never thought to feature it in a favourites post. It’s perfect for setting under-eye concealer without lifting the product off your face in the process. The shape of the brush means it fits into the eye area really well and doesn’t leave things looking caky. Everyone needs one of these brushes.

KeraStraight Glossing Texture Creme* | full review – Since I have ombré hair it means I can sometimes seriously be lacking in moisture and need to constantly be looking after it to ensure it doesn’t break. Although this doesn’t create texture and body in my hair, it does leave a beautiful shine and my hair feels incredibly soft and smooth and frizz-free. If I don’t use this before styling my hair, I really notice the difference in my locks, my hair looks dull and feels dry but this always sorts that out.

What have you been loving in March?
