November Favourites 2014

For some reason this month I just didn’t have a lot of favourites. I know next month I will as I received my beauty swap box from Alexandra and I’ve been enjoying loads from there.  These four products featured in this months favourites have really stood out the most to me.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – I always liked the winged eye look, I just couldn’t do it to a high standard where it looked socially acceptable. I’ve been wearing winged eyeliner pretty much every day of November and I love it! I think I may, may have got the technique down now…to a better standard then before that’s for sure. I’ve tried this eyeliner twice in the past but the mini version, I didn’t like it then but this full sized one has really changed my mind. It’s probably the size making things easier but it’s so easy to apply and lasts all day. It doesn’t smudge or wear off which is great. The colour isn’t as super black as I’d like it to be but for the application and longevity, I love it.

Essie Summit of Style – I don’t usually buy Essie polishes, I usually save my Boots points up and buy them on 3 for 2, but I couldn’t resist this one. It’s so beautiful and perfect for the festive season. It consists of small and chunky gold glitter and it looks so pretty on any shade of nail polish, really sparkles. Glitter nail polishes are always a nightmare to remove but I honestly don’t mind when they are this pretty!

Mayebelline The Eraser Eye Concealer – One of the best concealers I’ve used, this little bottle of goodness has over-taken my Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer in the ranks of greatest concealer. A huge statement I know but this concealer banishes dark circles with even the lightest layer, doesn’t crease and doesn’t dry out the delicate eye. It stays put all day and sometimes I don’t even need to set it. If I’m having a good skin day, I just use this on my blemishes and redness and my skin looks so natural, it’s great.

Hourglass Ambient Lightening Blush Palette – This was obviously going to be in this months favourites, I have a feeling it might be in a lot of other bloggers too. I’m not going to say too much as I will be reviewing it fully very soon, but everything about it is beautiful, the packaging, the shades…just – sighs. The pigmentation is gorgeous and the formula is so soft and smooth to apply. I can’t decide which shade is my favourite as I wear them all a lot and adore them all equally. If you’ve been umming and ahhing over whether you should buy this or not, you should, it’s the best purchase I’ve made in a long time.
