Products Worth Mentioning #1

I’ve decided to start trying out some new products that I’ve had sitting around or that are new to my collection. Instead of having a hefty favourites post every now and again, I thought it would be nice to start a new series titled Products Worth Mentioning, different items that I think are worthy of a little more time in the spotlight.

BD Barbara Daly Long Wear Eyeshadow I have only photographed one however all three that I own are great. They remind me of the By Terry shadow sticks but at £3.00 each, they are a complete bargain. They apply and blend really easily and have very minimal creasing, with the shade Shimmer Sand (my favourite) not creasing at all. Wear time is brilliant and once applied, they don’t budge, honestly, they are a struggle to remove sometimes. A full review including swatches will be coming soon.

Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia lip butter I have two other scents from this brand and loved one but kinda loathed the other one, this one though, it’s 100% love! It smells incredible and is so soothing on the lips. My lips can be at the driest and a slick of this will sort them out in no time. The best part for me though has to be the scent, it really does smell insanely good, scent alone it’s totally worth it.

Maybelline The Rocket waterproof mascara I have a slight obsession with buying new mascaras and had this one sitting around for a while. I decided to finally use it and I’m glad I did. It creates some beautiful long lashes without any clumps in site. I noticed that during all the crying I’ve been doing recently that my mascara wasn’t smudging, turned out it was waterproof haha, although I didn’t realise it was actually the waterproof version when I bought it – silly Claudia. I can happily say though that it doesn’t budge and doesn’t cause any discomfort when removing, no tugging or pulling here ladies!
