I haven’t done a huge beauty haul post in quite a while. I picked these bits up over the last two weeks, shocking I know, and thought I would do a haul post for you all. I love hauls, probably because I’m nosey but reading other people’s hauls always introduces me to knew releases or deals that I hadn’t been aware of beforehand. If there’s anything in particular that you would like to read a full review on, just let me know below.
Starting off, Escentual had a buy one get one free offer on their Bioderma and after nearly finishing my first bottle and absolutely loving it, I had to get more whilst the deal was on. At the moment they also have a third off all French pharmacy products so I took this as a sign to finally pick up the Nuxe Réve De Miel lip balm and threw in the A-Derma Skincare Cream for good measure. It’s a creamy milk that can be used for dry skin on both the face and body and sounds lovely.
I’ve had a little bit of dryness on my nose recently and have wanted to try the Clinique Moisture Surge Mask for a while now and after noticing lots of redness on my cheeks recently, I took to google and researched the best product for it. I discovered the Clinique Redness Solutions base which is a green tinted primer and so far I am impressed. Another Clinique product I have been meaning to try is the Cleansing Balm.
I previously had my Clarisonic Mia in my blog sale however since no one wanted it, I took it as a sign to keep it and finally replaced the brush head. I picked up the deep pore one as I find that works best for me. I wanted to try a new eye make-up remover, even though Bioderma does do the job perfectly fine, I still like to use a separate product and found the new Garnier Express 2-in-1 Eye Make-up Remover from Asda and so far I really like it.
Last but not least I decided to finally try the Ole Henriksen Truth to Go wipes as I’ve heard so much hype surrounding them. I only picked up the travel size pack of 10 to start with as they were on a special deal from Beauty Bay.
PIN IT!Moving onto make-up, first up had to be the new Barry M spring gelly nail paints, it took a very long time to track all three shades down but I finally managed too. Huckleberry, Rose Hip and Sugar Apple are all perfect for Spring and look amazing on the nails and since Superdrug where holding a 2 for £6.00 offer, I finally added a red to my collection which is called Blood Orange.
Another nail polish I bought from Beauty Bay was Shell-O by China Glaze. I’ve been after a bright neon coral for a while now and since it was on offer, I added it to my Beauty Bay basket along with the wipes. It’s a beautiful shade and I can’t wait to wear it this Summer, it’ so bright!
YSL Touché Éclat foundation has been on my high-end wishlist for so long, ever since it came out and when I discovered I had £5.00 on my Debenhams card, it would’ve been rude not too really wouldn’t it? I’ve used this three times now and it is pretty darn good…review coming soon.
Last but not certainly not least, I just had to finally get my hands on one of the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushers. I was ordering one for my recent giveaway winner and picked the same shade, Diffused Heat up for myself too, it’s a stunning blusher and so soft to apply. Instead of paying £5.00 for postage, I found this beautiful By Terry eyeshadow in the shade Café Noir for £5.50 on Space.NK which brought my basket over the amount that qualified for free delivery, so I bagged myself an eyeshadow and only paying 50p more, bonus!
I know it’s a ridiculous amount to spend on myself in a short space but I haven’t gone this crazy in a long time. I’ve just ordered a little haul of organic products which I will write about when it arrives but now I have a lot of testing and reviewing to do and have put myself on an unoffical spending ban…who want’s to bet how long that will last?
Which products have you picked up recently? Have you tried anything from this haul?
