OPI Start To Finish | Review

A while ago I ran out of my trusty OPI Nail Envy and couldn’t get hold of it for a while so decided to give a new product a try instead. I decided to give the OPI Start to Finish a try and even though I’d never heard anything about this and hadn’t read any reviews I thought I would go ahead with it anyway.

3PIN IT!OPI Start to Finish contains a base coat, top coat and also a strengthener as well. It all sounds a little too good to be true and I would be lying if I said I believed it would do wonders. I used this every time I painted my nails, I applied it as a base and then as a top coat as well and have now nearly finished the whole bottle.

First impressions I noticed that my nail polish did last a little longer, it maybe added a day to my manicure, however once a chip appeared, that would be it, it would just peel off in one which isn’t very good. I did however notice that this did leave my nails looking incredibly shiny and glossy which I loved!

Strengthener wise I feel it doesn’t do anything at all to my nails. After using Nail Envy for two years straight I can honestly say that it did wonders for my nails, it made them so strong and really helped them grow however since using this one, my nails have gone backwards, peeling, chipping, breaking you name it, it happens to mine now.

I have now purchased another Nail Envy in order to get my nails back to how they used to be. If you are in the market for a nail strengthener or even a base/top coat I would steer clear of the OPI Start to Finish, I just don’t feel it really does anything that it suggests. Keep your paws looking pretty and stick to the Nail Envy and Seche Vite top coat.

Have you used this product? Which nail strengthener do you prefer?
