The Kissable Lips Drawer

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I thought it was only appropriate to write a post about how to achieve smooth kissable lips. As you can probably tell, I love lip balms, a little too much some people might say but I love trying new ones out.

2PIN IT!In order to get lips that are super soft and smooch worthy, I always start off with a lip scrub. One day I will try my hand at making my own but for now I just use either Lush Bubblegum or Lush Chocolate & Vanilla, both are equally as yummy as the other, and get the job done at removing the dry skin from chapped lips and leaving them soft and smooth.

Next up after licking wiping off the lip scrub, I use a hydrating lip balm, my favourites: Maybelline Babylips in Quenched and Intense Care and also Nivea Hydro Care has been a firm favourite since Christmas. Although EOS gets the job done just as well. For a thicker hydrating balm, I like to use the Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel.

For a bit of colour this Valentine’s Day, I will always opt for a lip tint or balm over a lipstick as it’s less messy and doesn’t take much to re-apply. I love the Maybelline Babylips in Pink Punch for a soft pink lip with a gorgeous scent, and recently KORRES Lip Butter in Quince has been a firm favourite with creating a soft berry tint to the lips all whilst keeping them hydrated and moisturised.

A really easy and quick way to achieve soft smooth lips with a hint of colour, I like fuss free applications, do you?

Will you be opting for a lip balm or a lipstick this Valentine’s Day?
