November Favourites 2013

Already we are in December which makes me grin from ear to ear as it’s by far my most favourite time of the year, and it also means that it’s time for my November favourites too. I didn’t have loads of products to include as I have been sticking to some of the same things in previous favourites and didn’t want to bore you by repeating myself.

Urban Decay Naked 2 paletteWith all the hype around the third palette coming out, I decided I would start using my Naked 2 palette a bit more. I’ve also been using a few different shades and trying to use the whole palette instead of just a few shades. Snakebite, Chopper and YDK have all been used a lot recently.

Make Believe Brick Bronzer – I’ve had this for so long now and actually use it all the time but I’ve only just hit pan on it. When mixed together, it creates such a perfect bronzed look without looking muddy or like a disco ball. I like that there’s hardly any shimmer in it. I had one about 4 years ago that shattered after I dropped it, and then my friend Lauren gave me her one to replace mine, very kind of her. Unfortunately, the lid didn’t last long and I have to keep it held together with a hairband. Great product but packaging is rather flimsy.

Rimmel BB Cream | full review – I stopped using this for a while because I bought my well loved DiorSkin Nude BB Cream and since Summer passed, it was sent to the back of the drawer. I decided to pull it out and realised, again, why I love this product so much. Leaves my skin feeling really smooth and blends away all my redness without highlighting any of my dry patches.

Barry M nail paint  – Bright Purple | swatches – I love this bright purple colour, it looks amazing on and paired with a sparkly polish. Even though it’s a bright colour, it looks great in the Winter too as it’s a darkish purple, despite it’s name. It’s super glossy and lasts really well on the nails too.

Barry M nail paint – Ruby Glitter | swatches – This glitter is so pretty and looks perfect with a bold berry colour, I chose to pair mine with Barry M‘s Raspberry and they look great together. All glitters are hard to remove but I don’t really mind about that. Being glitter it’s also perfect for Christmas time and makes me feel all festive.
