I’ve been meaning to review this perfume for a while, I’ve had it since May as it was a gift from a friend for my birthday. I have the original perfume, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck and as soon as I heard about this one coming out I really wanted it. I am so in love with the bottle, I love the detail on the lid and the charms around the neck of the bottle, and the red holographic colour is just so pretty. Taylor loves her fairytales and enchanting things and I’m the same so I was instantly drawn to this
The scent is so lovely, it’s definitely more sensual than the first one, this is more of an evening, date scent. The base notes are white musk, vanilla and blond woods and the top notes are wild berries, passion fruit and pink poppy. There’s also some peony, sugar-glazed champaca petals and white freesia thrown in for good measure. It’s such a lovely blend and it lasts really well on my skin. I know all scents smell differently on different people but I love this. This scent is more sophisticated smelling compared to her first scent which is more of a girly day-time scent. I wear this all the time and always get asked which scent it is.
I know she has a third fragrance out now too, Taylor by Taylor Swift and I will be getting my paws on that as soon as I’m able, it’s more on the citrus side this time. I love how she experiments with different scents and doesn’t stick to one category, that way there’s a fragrance for everyone.
Prices start at £19.50 for a 30ml bottle and with Christmas coming, there will be gift sets available which always makes a nice present.
