2012 Yearly favourites

Hey lovely people! Today I’m finally doing my 2012 Yearly favourites! I know there have been loads of these all over the blogging world but I love reading them as it’s a great way to discover new things. Although I can’t buy any, BOO But that doesn’t stop me making endless lists! Moving on, the items I have picked are ones that I have loved throughout the months of 2012 with the exception of one which I’ll explain when I get to it. Most of the products I have done a review on either my blog of The London Make-up Schools blog, so I’ll add links for them if you want to have a little read.

MAC Studio Finish concealer – If any of you watch my YouTube videos you will see that I use it in every single one. This concealer is brilliant for covering up blemishes. When I have really dark under-eye circles, I use this one and it works wonders. I even used it to cover up my tattoo for an interview once!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder – This has to be my all time favourite. It’s amazing to set foundation with and doesn’t make you look caked in make-up. It has the slightest of shimmer to catch you face in the light in a pretty way and lasts forever! This has been my powder for about 3 years now and I will never look at another powder again.

MAC Select Cover-up concealer – This is another product I use every single day without fail. It’s really creamy and works really well on any skin type. My sister has oily skin and she loves it. I use it on my dark circles and any redness I have and just makes your skin look flawless.

MAC Painterly Paintpot – I use this everyday as a primer instead of an actual primer. This shade is natural for my skin tone and helps eyeshadows stay put for hours. It also stops them from creasing as this usually happens when I use an actual eye primer.

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette – It’s obvious this would be in my favourites. It’s been in nearly everyone’s that I have read. It’s one of those products that I don’t know how I survived without before I had it. I use every single colour rotating daily and it’s definitely worth the money. I also love the packaging and the brush inside, it’s brilliant!

NARS Danmari All About Cheeks blush palette – I’ve only recently just done my review on this but I love this product. Whenever I go anywhere I only take this as it has 4 blushers to chose from a highlighter and a bronzer. It’s just the perfect palette and I love the quality.

LUSH Breath of Fresh Air toner – I love this product so much. It reduces redness, dryness and soreness. If my skin is glowing red at night, in the morning after using this, the redness has gone right down and it doesn’t dry my skin out at all.

OPI Nail Envy – This product has nearly run out so I’ve changed my spending ban rule slightly so I can buy this again. I used to bite my nails all the time growing up so when I actually started growing them, they were really weak and would peel and break off constantly. And then I found this! It works so well and even though it comes with a hefty price tag, my nails have never been so strong and hardly ever break off now! I know that if I stopped using it over my spending ban days, my nails will do back to being brittle again.

Elie Saab perfume – This perfume is so beautiful. The bottle is gorgeous and looks really sleek and feminine and the scent matches! It’s definitely an evening scent as it is quite powerful but whenever I have worn it I’ve had so many compliments on it. My mum and sister loved it so much they wanted it for Christmas too! So we all match now. I’ve had this since May and one spritz goes a long way and it lasts for an age on my skin.

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense – Anyone who reads my blog regularly, you’re probably sick of hearing about this moisturiser now but I swear, it’s the best one I’ve ever tried. I’ve always struggled to find a moisturiser that would work on my very very dry skin, but this one works wonders. My skin feels smooth and hydrated for hours after using it. I apply it at night and in the morning my skin is super soft. I also add a little more in the morning to my extra dry patches.

Revlon Black Cherry lipstick – This is the exception product I mentioned at the beginning of this post. Although I probably only used this lipstick from October, I included it because I’m not a huge lipstick fan but I love this one. I love lipsticks, I’m just lazy when it comes to re-applying. But this one, I reached for so much in the last three months it would have been silly to not include it. It’s a beautiful purple/berry colour.

Clinique High Impact mascara – I don’t know how I do it, but I always seem to end up with endless supplies of this mascara in travel size. It’s my most used and loved one ever. It creates beautiful lashes without looking fake or clumpy. It also doesn’t go crispy either. Sadly my endless supply has now run out.

That’s the lot peeps. If you’re observant, you would have noticed that there are 12 products, see what I did there?? Aren’t I crafty? Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed this post and found some new products that have intrigued you. If you have done a post similar to this, leave the link in the comments below as I would love to read them!
