We have been engaged for three years but we always knew from the beginning that our wedding would be put on hold. That didn’t stop me looking and swooning over all the beautiful stationery items and wedding dresses. Now that we are finally planning our wedding, I wanted to share some snippets here on my blog, naturally. A wedding planner was the first thing I bought. Stationery lover, Kate Spade obsessive, it was a no brainer that my first choice would be this beautiful blue one.
There are a couple Kate Spade planners floating around, I stumbled across this one whilst on the hunt for some Bridesmaid cards. I love the blue and gold lettering, it’s so beautiful and has everything you need to plan your wedding. Only trouble is, it’s so pretty I’m scared I’ll mess it up. I then came across a small business called Blush and Gold, I originally bought the fitness planner (more on that another day) and when I saw a gold and marble wedding planner, oh boy I ordered as quickly as I could.
PIN IT!PIN IT!The Blush and Gold wedding planner is A5, so it’s much more convenient for travel and wedding meetings, whereas the Kate Spade will make a beautiful memento. When I have every detail down and confirmed I will write this into the KS planner. I’ll obviously keep them both though.
So what’s included in the Love is in the Air planner? Everything. Guests lists, invite reminder sections, a checklist of what you need to do/book, budget tracker, photography checklist, table plans, vows, loads of inspiration pages and a wallet to keep things in. I use this to keep all my stationery samples in. The inside is gold polka dots with a gold ring binder, such a stunning planner and would make the perfect gift for a Bride-to-be.
PIN IT! PIN IT!PIN IT!The Blush and Gold wedding planner is perfect for appointments. And although it’s still beautiful I don’t mind as much if I make a mistake in it as I see this planner as more of a scrapbook. Ok it still hurts when I make a mistake. This is packed full of so many amazing things and it has plenty of places for photos, which I’ve had so much fun filling up with stickers and inspiration. It’s the perfect wedding scrapbook but so useful all in one. I find both planners are great to have. This one contains more in depth things as well, checklists for specific months and what you need to have done in certain times, a cute section to write your love story down, in depth budget tracker, lots of sections for your venue choices, wedding party, bridesmaid dresses, groomsman outfits, flowers, bridal dresses, photographers, the list goes on. So much space to not just list one, but multiple choices. There are also plenty of moodboards available to get your creative juices flowing.
Two beautiful planners that are definitely worth getting for yourself, or a newly engaged friend. I love the versatility of both of them and obviously, they both look great. Wedding planners are a great way to look back on your big day, recap how you planned your journey and created one of the best days of your life.
Which wedding planner would you choose?
