Philippines Photo Diary

You may or may not know that I arrived home from a trip to the Philippines last weekend. Most of my family travelled there for my brothers wedding and I thought I would post some of my favourite photos from the trip. All of these photos were taken on my iPhone 7 Plus because the Portrait mode is so incredible, I never reached for my camera!

The lead up to the wedding was extremely busy with wedding prep, dress fittings, a mad rush for new wedding shoes as our specially made ones didn’t fit, so we didn’t get a lot of sightseeing in at all. After the wedding we just did some shopping, swimming in the pool and sightseeing at the Taal Volcano in Tagaytay which was incredible. One day I hope to go back and get closer to the volcano.

PIN IT!The wedding itself was amazing, it was like walking into a fairytale, the venue was just so beautiful and my brother Mark had booked the entire complex out for everyone to stay in the night after. If I ever get married (let’s face it, you need a loan for a wedding these days) I hope mine is as beautiful and as magical as his.

Although travelling with a toddler was so stressful and it overshadowed a lot of my trip, it was amazing seeing my brother again. Everyone is so accommodating and friendly in the¬†Philippines, nearly everyone would say hello and Camille’s family (my new sister-in-law) were so friendly.

One day I hope to go back, next time when George is older. I was so worried about the flights with him but he was actually amazing so I may write a separate post featuring some tricks that we used so that we could try and have a relatively quiet flight.

Thank you Philippines, until next time.PIN IT!
