There are so many beauty brands out there that it’s not hard to get lost amongst them. New products always hitting the shelves, should you buy high-end or high-street, it can be a little daunting so today I thought I would share my favourite beauty brands at the moment and some of my favourite products from those brands. I will link up old posts as much as I can incase you want more in-depth reviews or swatches.
I have a mix of high-end and high-street brands, I mainly buy from the lower end of the spectrum, if I could buy from the luxurious brands more I would but there are some amazing products for a fraction of the price which is why I tend to only splurge occasionally.
This brand has always been a favourite whether it’s for their popular Naked palettes or their beautiful Revolution lipsticks, I’m yet to be disappointed with their products. Their eyeshadows are so beautifully pigmented and wear so well, they not only have a variety of neutrals, browns and rose gold tones they also have vibrant bright shades which not many brands do, but Urban Decay do it so well. Their Revolution Lipsticks are some of my favourites as well, I haven’t tried the sheer or matte versions yet but I really want to, espeically the matte. Urban Decay packaging is also stunning and probably plays a huge part in being so popular, not only does it look great, their products are great too.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Turn On – review (very old)
Charlotte Tilbury very quickly became a favourite high-end brand of mine. Although I have only tried her lip products I absolutely love them so much. The packaging of everything is just stunning and so luxurious and the products she has available all look so beautiful. So far in my collection I have a Lip Cheat Lip Liner which is one of the best lip liners I have tried, so smooth and creamy, one K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipsticks and finally two of the Matte Revolution Lipsticks, both formulas are long-wearing, creamy and just overall beautiful. I really want to try more from her range, definitely a base product or an eyeshadow palette, everything just looks so gorgeous.
I have only tried their incredibly popular blushers but it’s made me fall in love with the brand. Super expensive but excellent quality and perfectly packaged, it’s hard to resist their new releases. I’m dying to own the Ambient Lighting Edit palette, it’s just so beautiful and it’s incased in white marble, I need it. I also want to try the Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick and Ambient Lighting Palette so just a few products on my wishlist. The blushers that I own are so fine and soft and sit beautifully on the skin. I use a shade nearly every day and it still looks brand new, they really are worth the money and hype.

When H&M released their new beauty line I went a little crazy for it. They have a huge selection of products all at affordable prices and the quality is brilliant. I’ve tried a few bits from different areas, nail polish, lip products, blusher etc, I have linked up all the posts believe featuring everything so far. My favourite item from the line has to be their nail polishes as they last really well, apply beautifully and they have every colour you could think of, all for a small price. Definitely a brand I will be buying a lot more from in the future.

Ever since NYX became more readily available I check my local stand in Boots all the time, I just can’t get enough of the brand. I am so obsessed with their lip products, especially their Liquid Suede Lipsticks they are such a beautiful formula and come in all sorts of shades. Their Tame & Frame Brow Pomade quickly became my HG product for my brows as it’s easily the best product I have found to suit me.
Maybelline has always been one of my favourite high-street brands, it was one of the only brands I bought from growing up. Their mascaras have always been a firm favourite and the only ones I repurchase, their eyeshadow palettes are beautiful and excellent quality, I have also used a lot of different foundations over the years and always loved them. The lip products whether they are the Baby Lips or Vivid Matte Liquids are still some of my favourites and not to mention their SuperStay Nail Polish, I’ve raved about them for years now! I bought their Master Contour Stick in the summer and it’s brilliant, I still use it now as the contour shade is a cool grey-tone which makes it perfect for my pale complexion.
