Clarins HydraQuench Cream

If you’ve followed my blog for a while you will know I have always struggled with dry skin. It used to really get me down as nothing seemed to help, some products worked for a while, others would be fine until I applied makeup and then it would look awful again and so on. That was until I tried the Clarins HydraQuench Cream.

I used to use the Lancôme Hydra Zen Cream all the time and must have repurchased about four tubs, I then moved onto Clinique Moisture Surge and again, used about five tubs of that. They were both really good, made my skin feel soft and smooth but they never fully tackled my problem. I wanted to try the Clarins HydraQuench Cream  as soon as I heard about it through blogging but never took the plunge, until recently.

I chose the normal to dry skin cream that contains SPF 15 as I always like to have as much protection from the sun as I can get. The consistency is quite thin and feels so light on the skin. It might be a bit bold to say this, but from the first use I noticed a difference. As soon as I apply this onto a clean face, my skin just drinks it up and instantly feels hydrated. It’s soft and smooth to touch and there isn’t any sticky or greasy residue left on the skin. Sometimes I use it at night on top of an oil or another cream for added benefits and the results are always amazing. Whenever I use it though, alone or combined with another product, by the morning my skin is still just as smooth, plump looking and not a dry patch in sight.

2 Clarins HydraQuenchPIN IT!I’ve been using this cream since May with a bit of dabbling of a couple of other products in between however this has been my firm favourite and one product I will continue to repurchase. The dry skin on my face is pretty much non-existent now. Sometimes I suffer around my nose but it generally depends on the weather or if I have a cold (all that tissue blowing is a killer!) My makeup sits beautifully on top of this cream and keeps my skin hydrated and moisturised throughout the whole day. I feel as though my skin looks more radiant and the texture is so smooth now.

I’m roughly over half way through this jar now and will definitely repurchase it. For £35.00 I think it is definitely worth every penny. I really want to try the HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm  and the HydraQuench Cream Mask  as well, if the cream is amazing, I can only imagine how brilliant using all three products together would be.

Have you tried this product? What’s your favourite skincare item?

BLOG SIGPIN IT!
