H&M Beauty Reviews

I’ve talked about H&M Beauty non-stop since I posted my H&M Beauty Haul, I just can’t get enough of the newly revamped beauty range, everything is so pretty! I’ve been playing around with the products I bought for a while now and it’s about time I shared my thoughts on them.

When I stepped into the new beauty section in the brand-spanking new H&M store in my town I was so surprised at just how premium the brand looked. The stands were spotless (being new might have something to do with that but I hope it doesn’t change) and everything just looked so desirable. The packaging is just as gorgeous with the boxes being black and gold and the products themselves being cream and gold, it all looks very luxurious and more expensive than what it actually is.

Colour Essence Eye Pencil
Mighty Oak

—————–

I love my dark brown eyeliner, it just looks a lot softer on the eyes and doesn’t look as harsh as black does on me. This has a very subtle gold shimmer that is hardly detectable and I just love the colour. The best bit however is the staying power, I swatched this in store and was still struggling to remove it off my hand hours later. It lasts so well on the eyelids and looks lovely smudged out for a more smokey effect. £3.99 is an absolute bargain for such a brilliant product, will definitely be checking out more shades from the range, just love creamy eyeliners.

Cream Lip Colour
Deco Ruby

—————–

Deco Ruby is a beautiful berry toned red, perfect for the A/W months and one of my all time favourite shades to wear this time of year. This gorgeous creamy lipstick applies so well onto my lips without feathering or bleeding onto the skin. Because they are quite creamy, they don’t settle in any dry patches either. The wear time is pretty impressive too, a couple of hours with eating and drinking. They smell just like MAC lipsticks and I love that scent! These are priced at £7.99 each, mid-range as drug-store pricing go.

High Impact Eye Colour
Down to Earth

—————–

Down to Earth is a slightly lighter version of the Mighty Oak eye pencil, a beautiful brown with very subtle shimmer running throughout. Although I have only tried one shade from the eyeshadow range, I am so impressed. Not only is it super pigmented, I haven’t had any fallout what so ever when applying and it just blends out beautifully. Urban Decay eyeshadows have always been my go to products, my all time favourites, however this little pot has skipped ahead of my beloved UD simply because with UD I do get a little fallout, this one, nadda!  A very bold statement I admit but it’s the truth my friends. Wear time is also brilliant with it lasting all day with only slight fading but no creasing. For £4.99 I am more than impressed…now, time to buy one of their palettes!

If you can’t tell already, I am so impressed with the products I have tried from the range so far and can’t wait to try more. Other products I am itching to get my hands on are the Liquid Lipsticks, one of their Cream Blushers, love a good cream blush, a Powder Blush and finally as I mentioned above, one of their Eyeshadow Palettes, going by the single shadow this palette must be incredible!

I also picked up a couple of their new face masks and a separate post reviewing them will be up on the blog very shortly so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Have you tried anything from the new H&M Beauty range? Which products do you recommend?
