Babyliss Pro Conical Wand 32 – 19

I love to curl my hair, whether it’s long or short I curl it 90% of the time. Up until recently I’ve used my Remington Pearl Wand to create curls however the barrel is quite thin and therefore I end up with poodle curls. I’ve been dying to get the Victoria’s Secret tousled waves for so long now, a look that I could only achieve the second day from my pearl wand, however I can finally have them straight away.

The Babyliss Pro Conical Wand* has a ceramic conical barrel of 32-19mm which creates these tousled effortless waves. It has 25 heat settings depending on the thickness of your hair, the thicker your hair the higher you have the heat. It has a variable heat of up to 210°C and comes with a heat mat and glove.

I like to curl my hair in different directions and I like to have some sections twirled before wrapping it around the wand and some sections flat against the barrel, this technique creates texture and dimension. The wand heats up really quickly which is always handy, especially if you are in a hurry. Once I have curled all my hair, I spray it with an extra hold TRESemmé hairspray and apply some of the Charles Worthington Texturizing Spray for even more texture and add some grit to the hair. This step is very much needed for me as my hair is so shiny, curls tend to slip out quickly. My curls did drop out a bit once I had finished but I still love the relaxed wave that I am left with. I can’t rave about this wand enough, I wish I had discovered it sooner, I love the curls it creates so much.

For just £25.99 from Just My Look you get a great product for a small price. This is the only curling wand I use now, my Remington Pearl has been put to the back of the queue and my straighteners don’t even get a look in!
