H&M Beauty Haul

Back in September my best friend told me that a new H&M would be opening in my local area. We already have a huge store however after looking it up to find an opening date I saw they were going to be stocking homeware and the new beauty range. Excited was an understatement, we have been eagerly awaiting it to open and it finally has!

The homeware items were so pretty and there are so many things I want however, sadly they didn’t actually have any of the marble items I was planning on buying, so I went a little crazy in the new beauty section instead. I bought a couple of bits from H&M’s beauty range a while ago, but since they’ve revamped it and added a whole makeup line, it was hard to chose as everything looks incredible.

H&M BeautyPIN IT!
The packaging for the whole line is just beautiful, with gold and black boxes and cream and gold product packaging throughout, it looks a lot more expensive than it is. I actually don’t want to throw the boxes away, even the little bag my things came in I want to keep…

They had a huge selection of little face mask pots and I decided to give these two a try first, Coconut Water containing shea butter and cocoa butter which is aimed at dry skin and Charcoal & Volcanic Soil containing sea salt for blemishes. These were only £1.99 each and will most definitely be trying out more from the range.

From the makeup line I picked up a High Impact Eye Colour Eyeshadow in Down to Earth (£4.99) which is a beautiful taupe with a purple undertone. I’ve only swatched it so far but it felt so buttery and soft, I think it will blend beautifully. Another eye product I wanted to try was a Colour Essence Eye Pencil in the shade Mighty Oak (£3.99) which is similar to the eyeshadow only darker. Again, this feels so soft and creamy to apply and when I swatched them in store, I couldn’t actually wipe them off so I bet the staying power is great.

Finally I chose a lipstick and they had so many beautiful colours to choose from. I chose a Cream Lip Colour in Deco Ruby (£7.99) and it is a beautiful berry pink colour which will be perfect for the autumn and winter months.

Everything feels like such amazing quality for the small price tag. Once I’ve tried the products out I will write a full review post on this line featuring swatches. I already can’t wait to buy more from the range, they have everything from makeup bags and nail polish to foundations and eyeshadow palettes. If you haven’t tried anything from the H&M beauty range, I highly recommend you give them a little look.
