October has flown by and I know I say this every month but it really has. November is going to be the craziest month ever. Awaiting the arrival of our little bundle of joy, I really can’t wait to finally meet him, I am so excited. I doubt I will have a favourites post next month, I don’t think favourite nappy brands count, but here’s this months.
REISS Nail Polishes* – full review – I’ve been a huge fan of the Maybelline polishes for a long time but have recently discovered a new little line that’s incredible. REISS polishes are available from Boots and can bought in a set of 4 in a Christmas collection. I will be writing a full review soon with swatches but I had to include them as I was so impressed with them.
Mystic Grace is the beautiful metallic grey shade, a colour I wouldn’t usually choose but it looked so pretty on and lasted incredibly well! Only two coats were needed for a lovely finish and the pretty shade just goes with any outfit, it’s so versatile.
Bacall Red is a lovely deep red with very fine red and gold glitter running throughout, it’s barely noticeable which is why I like it so much. Again, only two coats were required and this shade also lasted a really long time with very minimal chipping. I love this shade and think it’s perfect for the festive season, I can’t wait to wear it over Christmas time.
Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Créme – I will have a full review post coming soon on this product also but I’ve used this every single night for the month of October and love how soft and smooth it leaves my skin feeling. I don’t need it for the fine lines and wrinkles properties but it has definitely smoothed out the texture of my skin so much. It contains primrose oil and shea butter which my dry skin loves!
Ole Henriksen Walnut Complexion Scrub – Where do I even begin with this little pot of goodness?! It’s only a tiny sample size but every time I use it my skin instantly feels so smooth and flake free. I like my scrubs to be quite abrasive and this one is just that but doesn’t irritate my skin or feel too harsh. It just leaves it feeling really clean and fresh. The smell is another story, it smells so good, I can’t even begin to describe it, just smells amazing. I will definitely need to pick this up in full size once I have run out.
Maybelline BabyLips – Melon Mania – I love the BabyLips line as they are just so convenient. Hydration doesn’t last the 8 hours that it states but I still haven’t found a balm that does last that long. Melon Mania smells incredible and it leaves a teeny tiny hint of pink on the lips. This has been my go to balm the past month and I can’t stop using it, it smells good enough to eat. Yesterday I spotted a Spiced Apple scent so yes I will have to make a cheeky purchase.

That metallic grey nail varnish does look beautiful. That’s just the sort of shade I’m loving right now, Nails Inc Alexa Silk is pretty much constantly on my nails at the moment x
