You may remember that a little while ago I wrote a post about my DIY Desk Planner and mentioned how I was struggling to find a suitable planner that wasn’t ridiculously priced. I discovered mine on Etsy and decided that since I am obsessed with stationary, I love Photoshop and I always wanted to be my own boss, why not design my own? So that’s exactly what I did, and PaperChicCo was born.
Brent and I have been discussing for a while about starting a business but I thought I would start small and set up an Etsy shop selling my planner designs. There are a range of weekly planners, daily planners and specific planners relating to blogging, my favourites ones. We all know bloggers love their stationary and we all have different tastes so I’ve made most designs in more than one colour and style, all of which are printable.
Everything was designed by myself (except one planner) and photographed by me including the mock-up pictures that you see below and the logo. I’ve worked so hard on this little shop and hope to grow it to custom blog banners and printable wall art in the future, but for now I just want to focus on planners. Making them printable is just more convenient for the buyer, they have the choice to print out the planner as much as they like for a very small price.
I turned the planner mentioned in the DIY Desk Planner post into an actual notepad and briefly share how I did that, but let me know if you want a more in-depth post with pictures stating exactly how I made the notepad and I will be happy to write a post about it.
So, enough rambling, here are my designs, I hope you like them as much as I do! Let me know which is your favourite planner below!
I do have a couple more designs and colour variations which will be available at a later date but for now, I really hope you like these and find them useful, I’d love to hear your thoughts on them. I would also really appreciate it if you would share this post for me, spread the word and help a fellow blogger out and all that jazz. I’ve also added a “Shop” icon to the top of my blog page for easy access.
A quick thank you to my brother for helping me out with technical bits and bobs and Brent for listening to me bang on about planners for the past month, and for his great idea in the first place.
Thank you so much and happy planning!
