August is over and September is finally upon us! August was incredible as it’s the month that Brent asked me to marry him! He is now my fiancé and that is so strange to say, I still keep saying boyfriend but it’s incredible and I can’t wait to start planning our wedding.
I am both thrilled and scared for this coming month, thrilled because I am so ready for autumn, I love summer but I can’t wait to whip out my skinny jeans, ankle boots and cosy scarfs, my favourite season. Scared because September generally means more spiders are lurking around and ain’t nobody got time for that!
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet – I have a full review of these coming soon but I had to feature the shade Nude-ist as I’ve been wearing it a lot recently. I love this shade as it’s perfect for everyday wear and it stays put for hours, even with eating and drinking it didn’t budge.
Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner – I’m sure I’ve featured this liner and the next one in my favourites before but never mind. Being brown, this shade is perfect for a more natural daytime smoky eye and it’s so easy to apply. I’m still a bit of a novice when it comes to eyeliner but this makes things so easy. It also stays put really well.
Kate Von D Tattoo Liner – This is pretty much the exact same as above, wears really well and really easy to apply. I love how jet black the shade is and it doesn’t budge all day. I will most definitely be buying both of these in full size when the time comes.
Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara – Hands down the best mascara I have used in a long long time. It holds a curl in my stubborn lashes all day long, separates them wonderfully and my lashes look amazing. The formula doesn’t leave your lashes feeling crispy or flaky and considering it’s not a waterproof formula, I’m pleasantly surprised just how well it works on my lashes. Such a shame that this brand isn’t available in the UK, hopefully one day it will come to the UK but for now I will just have to wait until I’m next in the US to stock up on this amazing mascara.
Urban Decay Naked Palette | full review – With the new Naked Smoky palette coming out last month, it reminded me to use the ones I actually had. I used the original naked palette for every eye look I wore last month and I forgot just how much I love it. Sidecar, Smog and Half Baked being my favourite shades, this palette is definitely my favourite out of the bunch so far.
MAC Dainty Mineralize Blush – This was one of the first blushers from MAC that I bought and I forgot just how pretty and natural looking it is. It leaves a soft flush to the cheeks and blends out so well. Wear time is also really good and although it contains tiny glitter particles, they aren’t detectable once on, such a pretty blush.

I took my Naked 1 palette on holiday with me, having 2 daughters we all discussed what we were taking and took things we could all use, but I found myself using the Naked 1 a lot of the time and hadn’t used it for a good few months beforehand, love the look of the blush and the eye liner sounds brilliant too 🙂 xxx

ZoeI seem to gravitate towards Naked 1 so much more than the others, just so many amazing shades. The liner is brilliant, such a fine nib for precise application, anything to help with my cack-handed cat flicks! xx
