Charlotte Tilbury Makeup

1 Charotte Tilbury

From the moment Charlotte Tilbury released her own makeup line I knew I had to have it. I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time swooning over her gorgeous products and stunning packaging and finally, for my birthday this year my mum treated me to two products. Happy bunny right there!

I chose to start with a lipstick and liner first as I’ve heard so much about both. We ordered them a month before my birthday and I actually forgot about them so it was a great surprise. I chose to get a duo from the gift section and decided on the Luscious Lip Slick in Amazing Grace which included Matte Revolution Lipstick in Amazing Grace and the Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Crazy in Love.

How gorgeous is the rose gold packaging? It’s just stunning, sleek and luxurious looking, even the boxes are beautiful – Yes I just said that. The Max Factor lip liners really look similar, they are gold instead of rose gold but I always confuse them when shopping my stash.

The liner and lipstick are a gorgeous duo and the colour is unlike anything I have found before. A soft muted pinky rose, it’s just gorgeous. I’ve worn this duo for both daytime wear and for evening wear, it’s so versatile and looks as though you made an effort without looking over the top. The lip liner is a slighter darker shade and looks really pretty on it’s own.

For a matte lipstick it’s not drying at all on me. I always moisturise my lips before applying any kind of lipstick and it stays smooth and chap free, no flaky patches. I’ve worn this look and had plenty to eat and drink and it hasn’t moved. I always check my lippy after eating and it was still firmly in place. The wear time on me was at least 3 hours before I just wanted to apply more because I felt fancy getting the tube out – Not gonna’ lie! I love the shape of the lipstick bullet, the blunt square edge makes applying lipstick to the cupids bow really easy as it’s already in the shape of my lip and I don’t need to worry about messing up the edges.

After officially popping my Charlotte Tilbury cherry, I am more than impressed with my choices. I love the shade, the formula and the look of her products and can’t wait to get more over time. Gorgeous shade variety, great formula, no feathering dry patches and great wear time, not to mention the luxurious packaging. What more could a girl want from a lippy?

Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury lip products? Which product would you recommend I try next?

Love Amazing Grace! I’m a big fan of CT and have a lot of products from her line. You should try Miss Kensington lipsticks, it’s a nice pinky nude and part of the Norman Parkinson collab.

Your choices were spot on Claudia, they are gorgeous! I haven’t tried the matte lipsticks or the liners so I’m super curious to give them a whirl myself.

It is a strange shape but makes application around the cupids bow so much easier, it’s brilliant! xx

Gorgeous picks, Amazing Grace looks stunning and looks amazing on you when teamed with Crazy in Love 🙂 I love that this isn’t drying at all because that is sometimes what puts me off matte lipsticks. I’ve only just got the Bronze and Glow and cannot wait to start using it. Fab post hun 🙂
