GlamGlow is a brand I have always wanted to try, ever since I first heard about it, I added their products straight onto my wish list. Such a cult brand with their YouthMud being one of their most popular items, I just had to get my paws on something to try.
I was contacted by BlowLTD, an amazing online beauty brand that offers a huge selection of products and asked if I would like to try something from their website. Not only do they have amazing online shopping, you can pop along to one of their beauty bars in London and get your hair, makeup and nails done! I’ve heard of the brand before and have been on their website numerous times eyeballing different beauty products and obviously couldn’t say no to such a fab opportunity.
I asked to try the GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment* as although I’ve always wanted to try the YouthMud, my skin is in some serious need of some hydration at the moment. It arrived within a couple of days, super quick delivery! The packaging was amazing, easily the best presented product ever, so pretty in fact that I didn’t open it for a few hours, they really take pride in their looks which really makes a brand/company stand out.
The packaging of the product itself comes in this vivid blue box and I love the little “Hello Sexy” under the lid, was unexpected. Although I feel the packaging could be downsized, it does look amazing and the glass jar is so luxurious, it looks great in my skincare collection and the blue is just such a gorgeous shade.
Now, that’s enough about the looks, does this product really hydrate, replenish, soothe and restore your skin as it advertises. Well yes and no for me. The scent is incredible, best smelling face mask by far, you can really smell the coconut and honey, it’s great. You can use the product in two different ways. Apply it all over the skin for 10 minutes and then wipe off any excess or you can wear it overnight for a serious moisture surge. I always choose to wear it overnight and come morning my skin is super soft and healthy looking. When I first apply it, my skin appears radiant and the mask doesn’t feel sticky or tacky at all, it just sinks straight in which is lovely. At the moment I have really bad dry skin on my nose and sadly even after using this for over a month, it doesn’t appear to have gotten better. However, the rest of my face is a lot better, a lot more hydrated than it used to be.
For £49.99 I think it’s a great product and definitely a great treat. You get 50g of product which is a decent quantity and it is a great quality product. Would I buy it again? Yes as although it hasn’t fully cured my dry skin, general hydration is so much better. It’s also made me want to try their other products a hell of a lot more now.
You can currently get £10 off your next order of £50 or more with BlowLTD by entering the code “CLAUDIA10” at the checkout.
