Nuxe Réve De Miel Lip Balm

This review is long over due, that’s an understatement really! I must have taken these photographs months and months ago and I still haven’t written the post, I’m so bad. I feel as though recently all I have written about is hyped up products and the Nuxe Réve de Miel is most definitely one of them.

Nuxe is a lovely French brand that I had heard a lot about but never really looked into their products until I kept seeing this lip balm pop up everywhere. Because of it’s rich intense formula, it’s aimed at very dry lips to help nourish and repair them. I bought this at the start of Autumn last year and have used it nearly every night since and I’ve barely made a dent.

I love the scent of this product, anything with honey as an ingredient always smells insanely good and this isn’t any different. When I first used it, I made the mistake of slathering it all over my dry cracked lips only to wake up a horrid slimy film on my lips. This happened a few times until I finally realised it was because I was applying far too much. With a normal lip balm you have to be pretty generous with the application in order to see a result, however a little goes a long way with this balm. A thin layer at night helps heal my dry lips and by morning they are soft and nourished all throughout the day.

If you really suffer with dry lips this balm is definitely worth a look at. For £9.50 you get 15g of product which is a lot since you need the bare minimum. The frosted glass makes the product look lovely and luxurious and I keep it by my bed so I don’t forget to apply it at night time. I’m glad I gave into the hype of this product as it definitely deserves it, no lip balm has ever healed my awful cracked lips over night, I’m so impressed.

Have you tried Nuxe Réve de Miel  lip balm? What do you think of it?
