Organic Surge Extra Care Skincare

I have heard of Organic Surge before, I just have never gotten round to trying anything by them. I was asked if I would like to try the new Extra Care line and couldn’t say no, the products sounded so lovely and I couldn’t wait to try. Skincare is very personal as everyone has a different skin type and what works for me may not work for you, however I have dry dehydrated skin and hope that if you have the same, these products could help you too.

Ultra-Light Oil Control Lotion* – I know what you’re thinking, someone with dry skin doesn’t need a product that offers oil-control but this also offers a healthy radiance to the skin whilst controlling your natural oils. With ingredients such as argan leaf, damask rose and sweet orange oils, it smells amazing and really does leave my skin looking radiant. Moisturiser wise, I don’t feel it’s really heavy duty enough to help my dry skin but if I mix it in with a foundation, it lasts really well on the skin and looks gorgeous. It adds a dewiness to the skin without looking shiny and once mixed with a hydrating foundation, it doesn’t feel anywhere near as dry as it did previously.

Replenishing Facial Oil* – This little bottle of goodness has taken over my Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil. Enriched with argan oil, it’s super nourishing and leaves the skin really hydrated and soft. I like to apply a couple of drops at night and then apply a moisturiser over the top and come morning my skin is plump, radiant and not a dry patch in sight.

Nourishing Rose Day Cream* – Currently my go-to moisturiser, I’ve already used half the bottle. I’ve previously mentioned this moisturiser in my Products Worth Mentioning #3 post and have since started using it with the above oil instead. When I use them both together at night, my skin is amazing in the morning. I use it again in the morning before applying my make-up and find that any make-up sits really well on top. It provides just enough hydration on it’s own for me, however if you have very dry skin, it may not be heavy duty enough for you.

All the products smell incredible and I’m very impressed with the Organic Surge Extra Care range. I also love how they don’t test on animals and their products contain no harsh chemicals or parabens. Now I’m getting older, I need products such as these to really look after my skin.
