Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo Uplifting Volume – This does smell amazing, so refreshing and cirtusy however it just doesn’t do anything for my hair. I have to spray a lot to make my hair feel a teeny bit better but I do love how the scent makes my hair smell super fresh and clean. I also found that it didn’t leave any white marks in my hair which is great but I feel that as a dry shampoo it doesn’t cut it.
Lush Ambrosia Shaving Cream – I bought this on a whim as it sounded amazing. I do love how smooth it makes my legs feel and whenever I use this I never have the post-shaving rash issue which is what I bought it for. However, this clogs up a razor like nothing I have ever tried. It’s awful and I easily use two brand new razors every time I use this shaving cream. I tried using the bare minimum to shave with and it did help but it still clogs the razor up. It’s a shame because on the reviews on Lush’s website, people said how it doesn’t do it but for me it’s a nightmare. I will continue to use it but I won’t be repurchasing it.
CoLab Dy Shampoo New York – Another beauty product that’s recently been launched by another YouTuber. Ruth Crilly aka: A Model Recommends, is behind the CoLab Dry Shampoo range. She released 5 different scented dry shampoos but I chose New York as it does smell fabulously fruity and fresh. I didn’t need another dry shampoo but when I kept hearing her say how it guarantee’s no white marks I just had to try it. On first use after vigorously shaking it, I applied one spray from a long way away and immediately resembled Cruella De Vil with white residue everywhere. I’ve used it a few times and I’ve tried to like it but when it does apply normal without the white marks, my hair feels greasier than before I started. It leaves my locks feeling slimy and lifeless, but does smell amazing. I really don’t recommend this as a dry shampoo.
