Maybelline SuperStay 7 Day Gel Nail Colour | Hot Salsa

You must all know by now how much I love these polishes. After wearing these in different colours for the past two months, I decided to try an old favourite Barry M’s Greenberry and it chipped almost immediately whereas before, they never seemed to chip on me. It’s strange but I can honestly say, these are the best high-street nail polishes I have tried. So far I have reviewed Uptown Blue – a gorgeous vibrant cream blue and Orange Punch – a bold pumpkin orange shade, and have loved them both. In one of the comments on the Orange Punch post, a reader said that the shade Hot Salsa was her favourite and I went straight out to buy it.

2PIN IT! 3PIN IT! 4PIN IT!

Hot Salsa from the SuperStay 7 Day Gel Nail Polish range is a vibrant pink toned red. In the bottle it appears more on the coral side but on my nails it looked more red. It’s a very pretty shade and a nice change from my usual pastel colours or nude. Application was easy as the formula was very pigmented, after 2 coats I was good to go and there wasn’t any streaks. Wear time was very good, as always. I wore this shade whilst I went camping for 3 days in the New Forest and although it chipped on the very ends, it wasn’t noticeable. I had already been wearing the shade for about 4 days before I went and so far, every shade I have tried, the colours have lasted 7 days. The polish dries so quickly and looks super glossy and shiny, I never need to apply a top coat to add shine.

Everything about these polishes are fab, the formula, longevity, colour range, it’s all great. I’m slowly purchasing new shades when I can, I recently picked up Mint for Life with my Boots points, I love that card! If you’re in the mood to try a new nail polish brand, I would 100% recommend this range, hands down, the best I’ve tried.

Have you tried this nail polish line? What are your thoughts on them?
