July Favourites 2014

I began using some new products towards the end of the month so I think there might be more favourites in August, this month’s ended up being scrapped together. I really chop and change and never actually stick to one thing for ages, it’s very rare when I do, but here’s July’s favourites.

DiorSkin Nude BB Creamreview – An old favourite from last year, I decided to dig this out and start using it again. It’s a beautiful BB cream that provides great coverage and stays put all day without sitting in my dry patches. Even in the heatwave, my face wasn’t sliding everywhere and it wasn’t oily either. The shade is perfect for me in the summer time and I love that it contains SPF 10, not amazing but better than nothing. I have SPF in my moisturiser too so it’s not too bad.

Bourjois Cream Blush – Rose Tenderreview – Another favourite from last year that I whipped out, I actually forgot I had this until last week. It gives a lovely soft and natural flush of colour. The tone of pink is perfect for pale skin as it’s not too harsh and it blends so incredibly well. I really need to pick up another shade of this as I’m always impressed by how long lasting they are on me and they don’t sit in my dry patches either.

Maybelline SuperStay Nail Polish Orange Punchreview – I honestly can’t stop going on about these nail polishes! Someone tell me to be quiet?! They are incredible and in my opinion, the best on the high street – Sorry Barry M. The formula is perfect to apply, doesn’t appear streaky and isn’t gloopy. It dries within about 5 minutes and the 2 coats it needs for an opaque finish will literally last 7 days. I’ve tried and tested it for all 3 shades I have now, the very minimal of chipping and you can’t even tell. This colour is gorgeous for this sunny weather and the shade makes you appear more tanned, it’s amazing.

Lancóme Le Crayon Sourcils020 Chátain My mum gave me this eyebrow pencil that she received from the Look Good, Feel Better event she went too, she said she just never used this pencil so she kindly gave it to me. I love that it’s double ended, with a pencil on one side and a spouly on the other, it really makes things easier. The pencil is the perfect shade for me and applies and blends really well. I do have to sharpen it a little bit more as it goes blunt quite easily which is annoying as I’ve used up loads all ready but it is a fab eyebrow pencil.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm I am yet to write my full review so I shall keep it brief but this breaks down make-up so well and with this I don’t get into a mess. Once I’ve washed it off, my skin feels clean, fresh and smooth. It hasn’t dried my skin out or broken me out, I love it.

Make-Up Revolution “Girls On Film” Salvation Palette* | review – I absolutely love this palette, and this is one product that I have used pretty much every day since I received it. The colours are super pigmented and last all day without creasing and it’s great to see a palette with more than 2 matte shades. This one has 6 mattes and 12 shimmers which I think is a great mix. My favourite shades are: Lipstick Over the LenseSmile WiderHold Tight, Give Me Shudders and Shooting Star.
