St Ives scrub
I love this scrub, it’s definitely my favourite out there. Not only does it make my face super soft and dry skin free, I use it on my body too and my skin just feels amazing afterwards. I used to use this at school and then stopped, I have no idea why, I don’t think I will ever stop using it again.
Repurchase: Already have!
Lush Breath of Fresh Air
I cheated slightly for this one, I have the smaller size and since I only had a tiny bit left, I poured the contents of this larger bottle into the smaller one. I do really like this product, it definitely helps my skin from being so red and dry. The large size does take forever to use and for the money, lasted me ages.
Repurchase: Yes but only in the smaller size.
Olay Total Effects cream wash
I got this ages ago and gave it to my mum however I decided to try it myself recently. Didn’t like it at all, it has exfoliating beads in it but they don’t really do anything and the wash just leaves my skin feeling dry and tight.
Soap &Glory Greatest Scrub of All.
Another one I bought ages ago and the same as above, made my skin feel tight and dry and the exfoliating beads just did nothing for my skin. This tube isn’t even half empty but it’s so old and useless that there isn’t any point keeping it.
B.Pure Micellar Water
I’ve used about 2-3 bottles of this now, can’t remember exactly but it is nice, it does the job well but not as well as Bioderma in my opinion. I have so much micellar water now that I prefer but this was good at removing make-up and leaving your skin fresh and soft.
L’oreal Absolute Make-up Remover Eye & Lip
Since taking the photographs for this post I finished my second bottle of this. It’s great at removing make-up including mascara, only annoying problem is the shape of the bottle, it goes everywhere if you’re not careful.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense
I don’t know how many times I have praised this product, it’s amazing for dry to very dry skin types and really helps to battle my dry skin. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated all day long without feeling greasy or clogging my pores.
Vitamin E wipes
I bought these on a deal in Superdrug and they smell amazing however they aren’t very strong and the wipes tend to tear quite easily. They also don’t remove make-up very well but the good thing is they don’t leave my skin feeling dry which is nice.

Boots Smooth Car Hair Removal Cream
I used this on my under arms and bikini line and it didn’t really do anything so I decided to use it on my upper lip. Us darker haired gals sometimes have issues with darker hair and I felt self-conscious so did something about it. This was great there and removed it really well. I recently bought the one specifically for upper lip and it’s not as good.
Mitchum Advance Control Deodorant
Boring to include I know but it was rubbish, I really didn’t feel as though I was protected when I used this. It smelt nice but really didn’t do much else.
Original Source Lime shower gel
Another boring one but this just smelt so amazing! Left my skin feeling really clean and fresh and just filled the shower with the gorgeous citrus scent, I loved it.
Gariner Ultra Dry roll on
Another deodorant but since the Mitchum one I decided to try a roll-on instead and this one is amazing. It smells incredible and I don’t worry at all about whether it’s working or not because it does the job brilliantly. I have since bought about four, one for my bag, bathroom, bedroom and extra stock!
Korres Body Butter Apple Blossom
This smelt so good, probably one of the best smelling products I’ve ever used! It soaked into my skin really quickly and the yummy scent lingered for quite a while. Super soft skin is an understatement!
Lush sample pots
Dirty Springwash, Grass, The Olive Branch and Flying Fox are all shower gels and to me all smelt horrible. I didn’t like any of them really and I wouldn’t buy any of them in full size.
I did however like the Rub Rub Rub one as it’s a shower scrub and did make my skin really soft, scent wasn’t too great but it did feel nice.
Repurchase: Yes to the scrub, no to all the shower gels.
Lable M Treatment Shampoo*
This left my hair feeling clean and soft but it smells like chlorine, really unpleasant and a horrid scent for a shampoo.
Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Protection Cream
I’ve had this for so long and still have loads left. Unfortunately it just doesn’t do anything to my hair. My hair still feels dry and sometimes it feels worse after using it.
Avon Advance Techniques Leave in Treatment
This was my sisters and I found it in her room after she moved out. It does leave my hair feeling soft and smooth but I’ve got products that do the job a lot better.

Hilary Duff With Love
I’ve had this for a couple of years and although it’s not empty it’s gone off now. I did have two bottles and used the other one up fully but this just got left and forgotten. From what I remember it is a nice scent, a nice one for evenings but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Gucci by Gucci
I used all this up and I still love the scent. Again it’s definitely an evening scent with it smelling a little musky, a good musky haha, but I wouldn’t buy it again as I like to try new ones. I really dislike the bottle of this though, just looks cheap and very chunky.
So…? Kiss Me
I always had a body spray with my at school and do really like this scent but I’m just not a body spray gal any more, I like my perfumes or Victoria Secret mists. This is a nice scent though.
Dior J’adore Voile de Parfum
This is only a tiny sample that I was given and the lady said it was a new scent. It’s very nice and sophisticated smelling and definitely an evening scent but sometimes it is a bit strong and overpowering.
Repurchase: Maybe a 30ml.

ELF Corrective Concealer
I tried to make this work but it’s really not a great product. The skin colour shades are far too dark so I can’t use them. Thr green I used on my cheeks which did help with redness and the pink shade I used under my eyes to correct the dark circles which helped however make-up didn’t sit too well on top of them. It’s also past it’s use date now, I’ve had it for about a year and cream product you have to be careful with.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder
I love this powder, it’s the best one I have ever used and I won’t be changing to another one any time soon. This is probably my third or fourth one that I have used now. They are pricey however mine easily last me a year which makes them worth the splurge. They set make-up perfectly without making your base appear cakey and because it’s finely milled, it doesn’t sit in dry patches.
Repurchase: Yes I already have.
MAC brush cleaner
This is one expensive brush cleaner but it really is one of the best I have ever used for spot cleaning. Gets the job done, brushes are super soft and clean and it dries quite quickly too.
OPI Nail Envy Original
Anyone who read my recent nail post will know how much this has helped my nails grow quickly and stay strong. It really does work and when I stopped using it, I really noticed the difference quite quickly so I will never stray again.
Repurchase: Yes I have a new one now, phew!
Rimmel Scandleyes mascara
I didn’t even get to use this, I bought it, opened it to check the wand and a little while later it’s all dried up and smells of playdough, not good at all.
Benefit They’re Real! mascara
I think this is my third tube of this mascara, I do really like it, I like the length it creates and how separate my lashes are but I’m a bit bored of it now and feel it’s time to try something else.
Avon Super Enchant mascara
I did really like this one for a more subtle but defined lash and it was easy to build up too without any clumpiness.
Repurchase: Unfortunately it’s no longer available.
Deborah Milano Volume Lash & Care mascara*
I finally finished this mascara to the best I could. I really liked it, it made my lashes long and defined. It’s supposed to help your lashes grow longer and help take care of them. When I used it every day for a month they did look ever so slightly longer but the thing I noticed the most was the fact they did look healthier, they started to do as they were told again.
Repurchase: I would buy this myself yes.
Collection Lasting Perfection concealer
I still have another tube of this but the hype really has worn off for me, I just don’t find it that amazing any more and since using my Rimmel Match Perfection concealer, I have now realised that this one really does appear a bit cakey and drying under my eyes.
Smashbox Hyperlash mascara
I really liked the comb brush on this as it was quite different, lots of little combs and then one longer bigger sized comb for more volume. It really separated my lashes and made them more defined but the formula didn’t hold the curl for very long.
CK One mascara*
I won this off the Debenhams Facebook page over a year ago and loved how you twist the end for volume and twist it back for length as the brush changes to suit the look you want, it’s really clever. However this one did go quite gloopy pretty quickly and for some time I had to stop using it and leave it standing up to sort itself out. I then started using it again and although I liked the look, it’s nothing special for me.
Maybelline Colorsensational lip stain & Revlon Just Bitten Lip stain
I’ve decided to put these both together because I would only be repeating myself. Both of these products are lip stains with the Revlon one including a balm. I have to say I don’t get these products, they just didn’t provide a lot of lip colour at all. Both of them seemed to dry up quite quickly after only one use and just aren’t pigmented at all. The balm on the Revlon one isn’t very nice either, made my lips feel slimy and not smooth and hydrated.
Repurchase: No to both.
As you can see, I tried to use up all my opened mascaras, I tend to hoard them a bit and decided enough was enough and that I needed to be ruthless with them. Time to use them up or throw them away. I still have a lot left so expect more mascaras next time too!
