Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser | Review

There’s a lot of hype surrounding the well loved Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and before I managed to grab my own bottle of the cult product, I spotted the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser in Superdrug for £5.00. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that works by protecting and repairing the skin making it a brilliant ingredient to have in skincare and it also includes a bunch or other antioxidants too! Another good benefit, Superdrug are against animal testing which also means this product is cruelty free as well! *cheers!*

It’s recommended for normal to dry skin types which is perfect for me and therefore bought it straight away. It comes in a 200ml tube with it’s own muslin cloth, it’s not the strongest cloth but it still works okay. The scent of this is amazing, it’s smells like coconut and shea butter which is probably one of my ultimate favourite scents ever.

2PIN IT! 3PIN IT! 4PIN IT!In case you didn’t know how to wash your face I thought I’d add pictures in haha! I know the Liz Earle you can apply to a face full of make-up however it doesn’t mention anywhere on this product that you can do that, therefore I remove my make-up first and then go to the bathroom to use this. I apply a two pence piece size amount and rub it all over my dry skin. I rub it in circular motions making sure to be careful around my eye area. I do this for about a minute to make sure I’m getting in the nitty gritty areas. The scent at this point is just wafting everywhere and my nostrils are very happy about this. After running the muslin cloth under warm water, I then rub the creamy cleanser of my face. My first reaction after using this was pure amazement, it smelt so incredibly good and my skin was insanely soft. So clean and fresh as well. This product didn’t break me out at all and doesn’t dry my skin out or leave it feeling tight. It nourishes it and leaves it feeling so soft and moisturised. If I haven’t used the word soft enough already?

For the price, this product is just brilliant. It really cleans your skin and leaves it feeling great afterwards. The only downside is the muslin cloth, it’s rather naff but you could always splash out on a more expensive brand if you wanted. I personally love this cleanser, it’s so creamy and feels amazing when you’re rubbing it into the skin. Did I mention the smell? I really can’t fault this product (minus the cloth) I think it’s brilliant for dry skin types that want an extra boost of hydration. Using this both morning and night has really helped my skin come back to life after the dull winter weather. I nearly forgot to mention, the huge 200ml tube will last forever, I’ve used it loads already and it feels just as heavy as when it was brand new!

Enough from me and my ramblings! Have you tried this cleanser? What are your thoughts on it?
