March Favourites 2014

Another month has passed and so it’s time for another favourites post. As you’ve all seen from my recent collection haul post you will know that I went a little crazy in the month of March with buying new beauty products. I just had to get a huge haul out of my system but it’s safe to say I do need to attend a shopoholic anonymous class or two. So, what have I been loving for the month of March?

2PIN IT!Toni & Guy 38mm Jumbo Curling Tong – Back when I had super long hair, I was after a jumbo styler but never actually got around to trying one. Since deciding to have the chop and becoming obsessed with Pinterest’s amazing array of short curly locks I decided to take the plunge and buy this one. For only £20.00 it’s a pretty amazing curling tong. At first I had no idea how to curl it properly but now I can do it in 10 minutes. Because it’s a 38mm barrel, it creates gorgeous big bouncy waves and once they have dropped even more, I’m left with soft waves here and there and I love it! Full review with pictures will be posted soon.

Avéne Soothing Hydrating Serum* | full review – I have just written a full review on this serum a couple of days ago and I go into a lot of detail about it there but it is a brilliant serum. I’ve been using this morning and night for over two weeks now and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and nourished without feeling tight. Soaks into the skin really quickly too and I’ve definitely noticed the difference in my dehydrated skin since using this.

Bioderma Sensibo H20 Solutionfull review – Being the lazy girl that I am, I’ve always been a fan of micellar waters. I love that they are super easy to use, and remove any make-up and dirt effortlessly. I’ve tried a fair few now and have to say Bioderma is definitely my favourite. The others haven’t always removed my eye make-up very well but this stuff does everything! I’ve nearly finished this whole bottle now but luckily have another two waiting in the wings and a said to be “dupe” by Garnier. Clean, fresh, soft skin, what more could you want?

Clinique Moisture Surge Mask – I can not get over how amazing this is. I used to use the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense moisturiser religiously however I decided to start saving the pennies there and instead splash more on serums and masks. This mask is amazing, working overnight it soaks into the skin leaving it soft and supply without any greasy residue. It’s a huge tube and you only need a pea sized amount so it’s safe to say this will be lasting me a while!

Avéne Thermal Spring Water – This spray really helps hydrate my skin and bring it back to life. I spray it on morning and night before I apply the Avéne Soothing Hydrating Serum and they just work perfectly together. I spray it on and leave it for a little bit before patting it in and my skin just drinks it up and doesn’t feel tight at all. I’ve also used it during the day to bring some moisture back into my face full of make-up and it just soaked in without ruining my make-up.

Dior Rouge Dior Nude Lipstick263 Swan – Brent bought me this gorgeous lipstick last month as a little treat. I’ve never had a Dior lipstick before and everything from the packaging to the formula is just perfect. 263 Swan is the perfect nude shade. It looks lovely with a more smoky eye but also looks beautiful for a soft natural look too.

Korres lip butterJasmine If you follow me on Twitter of Instagram, you will have seen my constant pictures and tweets expressing my love for this little pots. I love the Korres lip butters as they provide a little colour to the lips all whilst keeping them soft and moisturised throughout the day. Since I’ve been going through a nude phase recently, Jasmine has been perfect for giving me soft nude kissable lips. I have a full review on two Korres shades, including Jasmine, going live sometime this week so keep a look out as I provide swatches too.
