February Favourites 2014

Another month has passed and another favourites to write. February has been a very busy month, I have finally got myself a job after being unemployed for 10 months. It was an awful 10 months at that and I’m so glad I’ve finally got something else. Like all jobs I’m currently in my 3 month probation period so I could still end up with nothing after but I’m enjoying it at the moment and I’ve already done lots of overtime with more to come and it’s a relief to finally have a job again, and doing what I want to do as well, it feels good.

Onto my favourites, I don’t really use loads of different things at once, I like to stick to a select few and then the ones I return to are the ones I really like and this month are as followed…

Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser – I picked this up on a whim a while back as I was very intrigued by the description and couldn’t wait to give it a try. I will be writing a full post on it very soon as it is a great product. It smells amazing and it leaves my skin really soft and smooth.

L’oreal Elnett Satin Volume Heat Protectant Spray – I will also be reviewing this in full as well and have previously mentioned it in my Collective Haul post and it’s a good’en! I always love a bit of volume in my hair and this certainly gives me just that if I apply it to wet hair and then blow dry it, it’s amazing. It smells really nice too and leaves my hair really soft and silky.

MAC lipstick – Creme Cup – I won this gorgeous lipstick in Chanelle Jade’s recent giveaway, I was allowed to choose a shade of my choice and decided I would finally get Creme Cup. I’ve wanted to try it for so long and it’s the perfect pretty nude for my skin tone. It doesn’t wash me out and it’s really moisturising. I have discovered a lovely lip combo using this and another product which I will be writing about very soon.

Nivea Hydra Care lip balm – I went back to basics last month by using this Nivea lip balm. I received it in a set for Christmas and love how moisturising it is. The whole set was great and I’ve loved using everything in it. There isn’t any tint to this balm and I think it’s perfect for under a lipstick. It sinks into my lips quickly and leaves them feeling soft and moisturised.

YSL Touché Eclate concealer – This product has so much hype around it it’s unbelievable. I’ve held out for a long time but after Christmas I managed to nab one of the YSL Christmas sets that included a mascara, a serum and this concealer. It brightens things perfectly under my eyes and sets really well with powder without looking cakey, it’s also not drying at all.

iPhone 4S & Chevron Case – I just had to include something techy since getting a new phone last week as I’ve had my 3GS for so long now and it was pretty much broken, the lock button and main button had gone and it was extremely slow so it’s a relief to finally have one that works. I managed to get a great deal on contract so I’m one happy bunny. I also love the teal chevron case that I got for it. It’s a super cute colour for Spring/Summer and I love that I can now actually find iPhone cases whereas 3GS where hard to come by!
