Lots more products that I have used up recently and I am really getting through my stash of everything now. I have also already started on my Empties #6 collection. It does feel really good writing these posts knowing I’m not wasting any products and that they are getting used to their full advantage.
Bath & body
Vanilla & Shea Butter show gel
This was only from Asda for about 99p and it was really lovely. Made my skin really soft, smelt divine, generally a lovely product if you don’t want to splash out all the time on Lush or similar.
Original Source Shea Butter & Honey shower gel
As you can tell, I love my shea butter/vanilla/honey shower products and this one smells amazing. It’s a creamier consistency compared to the Asda one and just smells amazing. I love to buy these when they are on offer in Boots or Asda.
Soap & Glory Clean On Me shower gel
I bought this for my holiday to Rome and I love the scent of it. It was really hard to get it out of the tub because it is rather thick but it’s so lovely and makes my skin super soft. I will always buy Soap & Glory shower products for travelling.
Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path body lotion
I was sent this in a beauty swap with Cassidy and really liked the scent. It’s a muskier scent than what I’m used to but left my skin really soft.
Repurchase: No, I’d like to try more of their scents.
Soap & Glory Hand Maid gel
I love this antibacterial gel, keeps your hands clean while having a gorgeous scent! Smells amazing! Lasted a really long time because you only need a little bit and it’s quite cheap to buy anyway.
Charlie Enchant body spray
I bought this on offer in Boots and loved the scent at first, then the more I used it, the more I didn’t like it on me. I started to use it as an air-freshener instead. I’m definitely a perfume kinda girl, not body spray.
Clinique Dramatically Different gel
I bought this last Christmas and it really helped my skin. I used it underneath my moisturiser for an added moisture boost and it’s lovely. Lasted so long, a little does go a long way. However, past a certain way, it becomes really difficult to pump the product out. I just unscrewed the lid and scraped it out instead.
Repurchase: Yes. But I do have another one already as my sister gave me hers.
L’oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution
This is great for removing make-up, I think every Blogger loves this stuff. Apart from being a bit rubbish at removing eye make-up it’s a brilliant product!
L’oreal Gentle Eye Make-up remover
I wrote a review on this and it’s complete rubbish. Didn’t budge waterproof products and hardly even removed normal make-up as well. Miss!
Bath & Body Works Shea Cashere hand cream Sweet Pea
I bought this when I was in America a couple of years ago and it’s lasted me this long! It smells amazing and leaves my hands really soft!
Repurchase: Yes. But Cassidy also sent me another one of these in a beauty swap too! Yay!
Nails & Make-up
Superdrug nail polish Remover
This is just a basic nail polish remover but it didn’t leave my nails feeling conditioned at all. It’s okay for a quick purchase if you’re desperate though.
MAC Zoom Waterfast Lash mascara
This mascara was really good and made my lashes look really pretty. I liked that it was waterproof but it wasn’t hard to get off at all which is always handy. Being MAC it’s always going to be a bit pricey and I think you can buy just as good on the high-street.
17 Lasting Fix clear nail polish
I bought this because I wanted to see if it worked as a cheap clear top coat. It made my nails glossy and shiny but it didn’t take long for the polish to go gloopy which made it quite hard to use.
Cath Kidston lip balm
I bought this in TK MAXX a while back and it’s the first lip balm I’ve used up fully. Annoyingly the whole print on the tube rubbed off after about 3 days but the product itself was really good. Felt a bit slimy but was nice to use at night time. I’d rather try different brands though.
Sleek Eau La La liner Pumpkin
I bought this to recreate a look here on my blog and after the first use the whole pencil inside just fell out. After sharpening it, it just went to pot, it was such a waste of money and awful quality.
TRESemme Touchable Finish hairspray
It’s good as a little hairspray in the handbag for touch ups on the go but made my hair feel a little crispy, probably because it’s a 5* hold! Haha. Smelt very nice though and it’s great for holding curls in all day.
Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance
This leave-in conditioner has lasted me years, I’m not joking, about 4 years I’ve had this and I’ve finally finished it. It’s a great accomplishment! Smells utterly incredible and leaves my hair really soft and smooth. I like how the scent lingers in my hair a little while after but I wouldn’t say it really helps with detangling, but that doesn’t matter though.
TRESemme Keratin Smooth shampoo
At first this shampoo made my hair feel really smooth and soft but the more I used it, the more I started to dislike it. Just made my hair feel really limp and lifeless in the end. I like the rest of the range though.
Inecto Pure Coconut shampoo
Smells amazing but doesn’t do an awful lot for your hair, made mine feel a little dry but was great for use once a week or so. Can’t get over how nice this smelt though, yummm!
Batiste XXL dry shampoo
This is an amazing dry shampoo, really helps with 2nd or 3rd day hair and makes it look cleaner and smell fresher. The scent of this one is so fruity and florally. I also love how much volume this produces too, it’s incredible and really gives my hair a good boost in volume and creates great texture.
Repurchase: Yes, already got my next one on the go.
Charles Worthington Strength & Repair shampoo
I took this on holiday with me too and it didn’t make my hair feel soft at all, felt very dry afterwards, but it did smell nice though. I definitely don’t think this line helps repair dry and damaged hair.
Charles Worthington Strength & Repair conditioner
Same as above, didn’t do anything to help my hair and after about 3 uses, it was so hard to get the product out. It’s still pretty full but since I really don’t like it, I’m just throwing it away.
Batiste Tropical dry shampoo
This dry shampoo was okay but nowhere near as great as the other one I mentioned above. Smells great but that’s about it. I did notice that this miniature size lasted about 5 times. I know it’s only a travel size but that’s still not great.
Schwartzkopf BC Oil Miracle
I had this for a while and really did like it alot, left my hair soft, smooth and frizz free. I had this in my stash for a while and when I looked one day, it was white when it used to be a yellow colour so I guessed I should throw it away since it’s now discoloured.
Repurchase: No, I prefer Moroccanoil.
Sachets & Samples
I had a couple of these sachets sent to me to try and I did really like them. The serum and creme were both lovely but the fluid wasn’t great as it didn’t suit my skin type. All three products are very out of my price range though.
Macadamia Deep Repair Masque*
I won 4 of these sachets from Baobella ages ago and really loved using them. Smells so yummy and definitely made my hair super smooth and soft. Would love the full size product of this.
Senzimi Moisturiser & Cleanser
These smell like paint stripper, they are awful and they didn’t do anything for my skin. I know they are only small sachets but I would probably never buy these products.
L’oreal Ever Riche shampoo
I loved using this, I loved how it felt in my hair and the smell. I’ve heard so many great things about this line I know I’d love it.
Try Before You Buy Samples
Eau Thermale Avene
I loved these products and they’ve definitely helped me discover a new brand that I’m slowly becoming obsessed with. I wrote a full post about the Avene | Try before you buy and I seriously love this brand now. Repurchase: Yes. Apart from the Hydrance Optimale Creme (third on the right) I would buy everything else in full size.
