December Favourites 2013

The final monthly favourites post of 2013, how exciting! I hope everyone had a super Christmas and New Year’s! I haven’t featured a lot of favourites this month but these have all been staples that I have used nearly every single day. I have recently posted my Best of Beauty 2013 which includes all the products I have discovered and loved from last year.

River Island Snood | review – This snood hasn’t come off my neck since I bought this, I wear it all the time as it’s super warm and goes with any outfit. Maroon is my favourite Winter colour in both make-up and fashion and as soon as I saw this I had to snap it up and I’m so happy I did.

MAC Strobe Cream – I fancied a bit of glow in my daytime make-up and decided I’d give this a try as I’ve never really used it that much. I just applied this all over my face after my moisturiser but before my foundation and it created a lovely dewy glow to my skin. Winter weather always makes skin look a little dull and this product gave the exact effect I was after without drying my skin out.

Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara – I will be writing a full review soon on this product as I really like it. Soft natural looking lashes that don’t clump or flake and hold a curl for a decent amount of time, perfect.

Original Tangle Teezer | review – Where do I even start with this amazing hair tool? It’s incredible, really does comb my super tangley hair without any tugging or pulling involved. I love it, I only wish I had bought it when it first came out, I’ve missed out on 2 years of easy combing, I would’ve saved so much post-washed combing hair time.

Barry M Gel High Shine Nail Paint – Plum | LINKKKKKK – As you can see from the swatches in the link, this colour is gorgeous. The lighting in the pictures above are showing the shade to be lighter however in the link, that is the true shade and I love it. Dark but still a pretty shade, the formulation is thick and creamy, easy to apply and dries with a lovely glossy shine.
