Deborah Milano | First Impression Reviews

I don’t want to drag on too long but you must know by now that I love Deborah Milano products and was recently sent some other bits to create a look and wanted to write a little first impressions review for you. For my “Get the Look” I decided to go with a darker eye look with a subtle lip and cheek, my favourite kind of look, let me know what you think please! Okay, enough rambling and onto my thoughts…

Comfort Mat foundation* – £11.90 – On first thoughts I was a bit weary on the shade and the fact that it said mat, I took this as a matte finish, however the shade was a perfect match and suits me perfectly and although the finish is a little less dewy than I’m normally used to, as long as I don’t powder as much as I usually do, it sits very nicely on my skin I noticed that the coverage on me is a medium but buildable one and the first time I used it, it lasted very well on my skin.

Age Rest concealer* – £7.90 – This is probably my favourite product out of the bunch. I use it on my under eye circles and any redness and it is so creamy and doesn’t crease at all, it also covers things really well! I would definitely like this in the lightest shade as well because then I could highlight certain areas of my face too. Love this one.

La Cipria powder* – £6.50 – This powder hasn’t completely wowed me, it comes with a sponge applicator which I don’t use because I find them quite unhygienic however the powder itself is very soft and velvety but in my eyes, MAC’s MSFN still has my heart.

24Ore Eyebrow pencil* – £5.90 – This is my second favourite product, yes it’s a simple eyebrow pencil but it applies really well and blends out perfectly. I prefer this to any other eyebrow product I have and have been using it everyday since. Although it comes with the brow brush on the end of the lid, I don’t use it as I don’t find it particularly easy to use however that doesn’t bother me at all.

Kajal eyeliner pencil* – £4.90 – This eyeliner is very creamy and applies nicely, it also lasts quite well on the waterline but it’s not the most pigmented in the world, if you love the blackest black colours you might want to skip this one but I don’t mind at all.

24Ore Velvet Eyeshadow* – £5.50 –  I chose this colour because it was such a pretty dark violet shade, which is the name of it actually haha, anyway, in certain light you can see that it has very subtle pinky purple shimmer in it and it’s so pretty! It also blends really well and lasts a long time. It’s quite pigmented too and feels really velvety when you swatch it. On a sad note though, I just dropped mine on the floor when I was getting out to write this post and have just discovered that it’s broken down the centre, nooo! I’ll just have to whip out my rubbing alcohol and fix it. Clumsy me *slaps wrist.*

So there you have it, little reviews on the new products from Deborah Milano and what I think of them. Definitely recommend the concealer and eyebrow pencil, add them to your wishlists now ladies.

Have you used this brand before? What were your thoughts on it?
