I haven’t stopped raving about the new-ish Bourjois Cream Blush in Rose Tender since I bought it. I’ve used it non-stop since and absolutely love it. I’ll admit, I was dubious at first purely because cream blush never suited my skin-type before. I know dry skin sufferers are supposed to love cream products but I just couldn’t find one that suited me.
The packaging is really small and cute and the product is cased in Bourjois’ typical pink round pot. It has a nice sized mirror in the lid and I love the shiny pink writing on the front. It’s such a great size and easy to carry around. The magnetic clasp is really easy to open as well and with me being cack-handed and all, this pleases me. There are 4 shades in total at the moment and they retail for £7.99 each, this could be seen as a bit pricey for a drug-store product however I believe the price is totally justified.
As soon as I saw the shade Rose Tender I knew this was the colour to get first. A lovely subtle pink, it looks so natural on the cheeks. The colour can easily be built up to a more pigmented look and blends like a dream. I use my finger to apply it as I find I get a more subtle and softer look but a stippling brush does work nicely too as well. There’s such a soft shimmer running through the colour, however it’s not a crazy shimmery look, it creates a pretty sheen to the skin, a nice dewy finish. I’ve been wearing it with my DiorSkin Nude BB Cream and they work so well together. Two peas in a pod.
I am so happy with this product and can’t wait to buy the remaining shades, I really hope they come out with more A/W shades too. This blush has definitely converted me into a cream blusher girl.
Have you used any of the new Bourjois Cream Blushers? What are your thoughts on them?

September 15, 2013 at 12:13 pmI have one of these in the shade 01 and love it, I was shocked by how small it was when it arrived but I'd buy another just because the formula is SO nice 🙂 This looks like a really pretty colour, I wish pinks suited me a bit better x
