Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoos

As you well know I’ve been a huge lover of Maybelline lately but I always have had a love affair with them. When the Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoos first hit the UK about 1 year ago, I went mad and bought all the shades and I have used them all a decent amount since, some colours more than others. Recently I spotted some new colours and wanted to share them with you, there are still a couple I want to get as these are so similar to MAC Paint Pots and nearly a third of the price.

Everlasting Navy is my most recent and apart from swatching, I haven’t actually used it yet but the colour is so beautiful. It’s a pretty navy with subtle silver shimmer that will work perfectly in the Winter time. I love doing just a full smoky eye with one colour and this will go perfectly with an Urban Decay shadow I have from the Smoked Palette.

Pink Gold has had a limited use, I don’t usually wear pink eyeshadow, I find it makes my eyes resemble little piggy eyes, however I do like using it underneath MAC‘s Patina as the shimmery gold/pink comes through the bronze shadow and looks so pretty together.

Metallic Pomegranate is just stunning. I have such a huge love for cranberry type colours and this has a twist of gold shimmer running through it. It sides perfectly with Cranberry from MAC and makes the colour more bold and last longer.

Having used this line for a long time I can safely say they are amazing. On myself personally they don’t crease or go patchy, they are a great base for shadows to help them last longer and look more bold. You only need a tiny amount of product because they are so pigmented and definitely long lasting. Even with a good eye make-up remover, I find it a struggle to remove which is great because you know it won’t budge come rain or shine. The only problem though, they are a cream product which means they won’t last long and they may dry out, so far, only Eternal Gold is getting a bit dusty, the rest are still going strong.

Have you got any of the 24hr Colour Tattoos? Which colours are your favourite?
