It’s not very often that I’m completely blown away by a product. I enjoy products a lot and rave about them but I can honestly say, the new Bourjois Bronzing Primer is amazing. I have never used Chanel Tan De Soleil as it’s too pricey for me at this time however I have heard that this product is a close dupe.
I bought a few new products that had just been released a little while back now and bought this to have a play around with. I have been rocking the “dewy” look recently using DiorSkin Nude BB creme and a Bourjois cream blush (reviews on both coming soon) and really wanted to have a cream bronzer too. I hadn’t read any reviews prior to buying the product which is unusual for me but thought I’d take a chance.
It’s advertised that this product smooths out your skin for a mattified finish and can be used underneath foundation or on top of it. The one problem I have with this is that when I tried to use it underneath my foundation it didn’t show up at all and just didn’t work. Whenever I apply it over my foundation, it creates the most beautiful subtle glow and doesn’t look orange at all. It’s so easy to blend in and even looks lovely alone without any other make on. I apply it with a Mac 188 small stippling brush and it’s the perfect size and shape to contour with. Another brush that would do the trick perfectly is the Real Techniques contour brush however I lost mine on a night out…whoopsie.
Overall I really love this little pot of sunshine, your hardly need any product at all which means it will last for ages! It’s £9.99 from Boots which is quite pricey for a drug store product but it’s definitely worth it. Have you tried this product? What are thoughts of it?
