If you didn’t see an updated life post recently then you wouldn’t know that 2 weeks ago my wonderful Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and my sister had the idea that we take part in Race4Life along with my Auntie who is a breast cancer survivor. We took part at the race in Colchester as we had already missed our local race. Brent was a doll as he drove us there and back and it was a really hot but amazing day and so fun, as you can see from the crazy pictures above, we don’t do things by halves! We managed to do the race in 50 minutes, it was two laps and we half ran and half power walked it. We set up our donation page online and managed to raise £550.00 which is a crazy amazing amount! A special thank you to Sam from SamuelJamesMorris who sponsored me, I was so surprised and am extremely grateful so thank you a million times over. Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last couple of weeks, it means a lot to all of us. I’m also doing a McMillan Coffee morning in September time and can’t wait to do that as well. It was great to see so many other people supporting and cheering everybody on, was such a great day I can’t wait to do it next year!

This is such a great post! You should be proud of yourself 🙂 I run to stay fit all the time and I only do charity races because there is just something so rewarding about raising money and creating awareness.

Well done on raising so much! 🙂 Me & my mum done it a few years back after she recovered from womb cancer. We are so unfit though, walked most of it. People with walking sticks were overtaking us. haha
