Hey lovelies! Today I bring you another Lush review. I have such a big stash that I can never justify buying any of the new products, so I’ve decided that I will use one after the gym every week, have a nice soak so I don’t ache as much in the morning. I said in my last Lush post, I’m more of a shower girl, so I do wash more than once a week. haha!
I’d had Vanilla Fountain for so long that it’s actually discontinued but I thought I would share my thoughts with you anyway. It smelt really nice whole, and obviously smelt of vanilla and to me had a hint of shea butter in it. I love these scents so couldn’t wait to use it. Like most Lush bath bombs, as soon as you put them into water, they fizz like crazy and this one wasn’t any different. It turned the bathwater a murky yellow colour which wasn’t too bad. It didn’t look questionable which is always a plus. However, as soon as this one hit the water, the scent disappeared. Now I don’t know if that’s because it was quite old or not, but I’ve used bath bombs which were even older and they still smelt amazing. Usually they make my bath water feel really slimy which on my skin is really moisturising, but it didn’t do that either.
Overall, I guess I can’t do a brilliant review because I don’t know if the age has effected it’s effectiveness…? Did I really just say that? I hope it makes sense. I love Lush and I still have loads of products to get through, so watch this space…
Have you ever tried the LUSH Vanilla Fountain bath bomb? How was it for you?

January 13, 2013 at 12:41 pmI wish I'd tried this before it was discontinued! I think the scent does fade away a bit after they've been kept for a long time, so maybe that's why it wasn't as aromatic. Love the pink bathtub! xx
